special thanks to @wayward_daughter106 aka my best friend Ali for the idea

You had a long sleep, the best one you had in a while, and it felt good. Today you would start the journey to see if your boys were really dead. I crawled out of bed, as always not wanting to leave it. I had to leave the warmth and get up so I did, And damn was it cold, I sprung from the edge of the bed to the bathroom so that I could warm back up with a hot shower. I slid into the shower letting the warmth wash over me, it was making me almost sleepy, but couldn't get out. I checked on my stomach wound and then realized that it was already healing up, which made me smile. I wanted today to be the day to see if I could find anything out. I knew that I was probably just paranoid, but the Winchesters tend to.. you know, not stay dead. Of course, you had actually witnessed their deaths this time, and never were they ever gone at the same time s this felt different than one brother being able to fix the issue.

I stepped out of the shower, dried myself off and began to get my clothes on. I wore the red flannel that I stole from Dean and my leather jacket. I slipped on the Samuelet for luck, hoping that this was all just a silly nightmare, but I knew this was a reality. I put on my favorite blue jeans and my brown leather boots. My hair was scrunched up into a messy bun, whereas I just put some concealer and mascara on for some light makeup. I tried not to pressure myself and tried to make it seem more like a normal day. Of course, this wasn't just all about the boys, without them here was hard, but that didn't mean that I didn't have a job to do. After all, I was a huntress. I Had to look into something, a job. Wow, hadn't gone on one of those since Aurabelle. I knew I had to suck it up, time to start my life again. Save people, hunting things, the Winchester business, and after all, I was basically a Winchester, so that's what I had to do. I grabbed my laptop out of my bag and grabbed a granola bar to snack on while finding a hunt. Though it was still early I knew I had to find one fast. I researched, there was nothing until an alert came up.

"Female age 24 murdered, last words being "run away from the black eyes"

It had been a while, so I wasn't sure if I was ready for a demon just yet, but then again I had to start somewhere. I looked into it some more and found out it was in Ohio, Ashtabula. Hadn't been there in a while, ten-hour drive from the motel. I packed my essentials and checked out of the motel.

I walked down the stairs into the parking lot and jumped into the car. I missed sitting down in baby, hell I didn't even know where she was at this point. I looked over to the passenger seat to set my bag down and that's when I saw it. A bracelet, and a note.

"stay safe, though you might want this to know that they'll never leave your heart"

The bracelet had both Sam and Dean's birthdays carved in them and their initials, the same way the initials were carved into the baby. I smiled, whoever this knew me somehow. But really knew me. I always remember people's birthdays because I make sure that there always special. Before any more thoughts could distract me I started the car. The music immediately turned on. I was ready to kill this son of a bitch and find my boys.

Ali, my best friend who was already a hunter, was on the case. We would work together because she knew how out of it I was. I had called her when the Winchesters died and she was there for me, this was in her hometown so I let her start off the hunt. The drive was long but I knew, in the end, it would be worth it, I'd be closer to my general hunting again, back to normal and I'd get to see my best friend. I kept on driving until I had finally arrived. I hadn't made any stops so it took 10x faster than it normally would so I was glad and I stopped by the motel. Ali was staying there too so I thought I would surprise her and once I had gotten my key I had stopped by her room.

"ALLLLLIIIIIIII!!!!"

"MELODYYYYYYYYY" We both screamed and ran into each other's arms while staying in a long hug, one that I could've used earlier. Like maybe 2 weeks ago. I looked up and down at her outfit and then I changed into my fed suit, a pencil skirt, blouse and my hair in a French twist.

"Ready for our fed thing?" She asked

"Hell yeah agent McNamara" I replied laughing

"Let's go Agent Chandler" And after our huge laugh attack, we left taking her jeep. She drove of course but we jammed out to "carry on my wayward son" as we both knew it was a classic.

Before leaving the car, we made sure our hair and skirts looked fine and we stepped out to talk to the family. Talking to the family didn't take s long, we asked about the typical things, sulfur, strange behavior and we had nada. But kills happened in the park she died quite often, so we went there to find that evil demon.

We looked around the park since it was dark but I saw a figure and I slowly walked towards it.

"Ah look who we have here, A Winchester. Thank god those brothers are gone, now I just have to deal with you." He said, smirking.

"not before I kill you first" I replied, Ali had gone in the opposite direction so I had to handle him and before I knew it I was chanting an exorcism slowly so that he could feel the pain.

"Melody! Stop! Please! Why?" He pleaded. I didn't reply and came up close towards him with a knife and began to cut him, just before the knife was about to puncture through his skin to his heart he exclaimed something, something that I couldn't believe.

"They're still alive! Sam and Dean are you bitch!" And after that, I had lost it and stabbed him.

He had to have been lying!
