Chapter 6

~ Kayla's P.O.V ~

I woke up at 6:30am, took a shower and did my morning routine. I ate my maple oatmeal and left the house at 7:40am. I was late 😩 but it wasn't nothing new. I'm always late to first period most of the time. I hated getting up so early.

I pulled up in the student parking lot and I had my curly hair in a high bun and I wore a purple/bluish galaxy cropped tanktop, black leather shorts, and my purple/bluish vans.

I walked into the school and I began heading to my locker which was on the first floor all the way in the back by the gym but on a side hallway that leads to the gym. I retrieved my math binder and pencils and was on my way to get a pass from the office. After, the front desk lady signed my pass I walked to my math class which was on the second floor. I walked in and the first person eyes that I saw laid on me was Roc's. O.O he was eyeballing me and I tried to ignore. It was kind of like he was trying to have eye sex with me lol.

I gave my note to Mrs White and explained that I couldn't make it to her class yesterday because I didn't have a first period listed on my schedule and also asked if we did anything important. She told me no and I said thank you. I took note of the class and also noticed that today was another free day in math and Mrs. White only passed out the math books.

However, I saw some friends sitting in the front so I sat with them. This kid named "Irvin" always messed with me man and he sucked his teeth when I sat down causing an argument. We were in the middle of a full blown argument when Mrs. White interrupted it and told me to change seats. I told Irvin I won this one and he sucked his teeth and denied it.

Oooooooohhh the things he makes me want to do to him ugh. I got up and looked around the class then looked towards the back where I was avoiding because Roc was back there and I'm shy lol. I ended up looking back there and I noticed that Shay was back there? TF? She had this class? I saw a empty seat to the left of her and Isaiah sat behind that seat. I also saw Josh sitting behind Shay and David and Joseph was back there too. I smiled and was planning on taking the seat beside Shay and noticed that same seat was beside Roc too, he was on the row to the left if the seat and Ray was sitting behind him followed by Joe.

As I was walking towards the back I noticed everyone in the back got quiet and was eyeballing me..tf? Joseph commented and said "Kayla that outfit dope asf my nigga." I laughed and said "Thank you." Isaiah smacked his teeth and said a smart comment under his breath. I replied "Isaiah I ain't got time for yo foolishness." I finally sat down in my seat and turned to Shay and said "Niggaaaa I didn't know y'all were back here!" And Shay replied "I was wondering why you sat up there." and we busted out laughing, Isaiah made a face at me and I said, "Boy don't be making them faces at me!" Isaiah gave me yet another smart reply but instead of retaliating I said hey to Josh, David and Joseph. I noticed Roc and Ray had a side convo going on and they were watching the whole thing. David replied,

David: "Hey Kayla, why were you late today?"

Isaiah: "What you mean? She late almost every morning.."

Me: "Correction, I am not almost late every morning,its only the second day of school mane.."

Isaiah: "Naww!"

Me: "Come onnnn, I was EARLY yesterdayyy!" I put the emphasis on early and made a funny face, and everyone busted out laughing including Roc and Ray. I didn't find nothing funny so I replied with my arms folded, "Y'all this ain't a laughing matter.." then Shay started to laugh.

I turned to Shay, rested my elbow on Isaiah's desk and began to talk and laugh with Shay. While Josh, David, Isaiah, Joseph, Roc and Ray were talking. Josh had his feet in the aisle and was leaning and talking and Isaiah and David had there feet in the aisle turned to Ray's and them row and Joseph, Ray, and Roc had there feet all in the aisle turned to Isaiah's and mines row.
