"Hostage!?" her heart pumped.

Youngji's mind was rushing through all the horrible and unthinkable scenarios in her head. She saw just how capable and cold blooded Jaebum was. The last thing she would want to do right now was provoke him in any way.

Jaebum staggered to his desk and grabbed his medicine box. He then started tending to his wounds as he winced and gritted his teeth through the stinging pain. His neck wound wasn't deep but it was surely deep enough to form a scar. Once he was finished patching himself up, Jaebum looked over his desk and saw Youngji carefully wondering around the room, examining different objects and furniture that her small hands could get on.

"Yah!"

Jaebum's holler made Youngji flinch.

"What do you think you're doing?" he asked.

"I-I was just... looking around," Youngji's voice faded as if she was a mere mouse faced against a lion.

Jaebum looked down at Youngji's blood stained dress and up at her extremely ruffled hair. He couldn't help but put his head down, snicker, and sigh before looking back at her, "Go wash yourself. You're a mess,"

Youngji's eyes lit up!

"This can't be..."

Youngji immediately looked at her reflection on Jaebum's mirror that was propped against the wall. Terrified of what she had looked like, she let out a deep and embarrassed sigh— trying to hold herself together.

Jaebum covered his smile, "Hurry up and wash yourself," his stern voice echoed across the room.

Youngji timidly walked towards the hallway,

"Hurry up."

"Yes, sir."
Following Jaebum's orders, Youngji continuously bowed then as she walks past him she sneakily pulls out her tongue.

Jackson squinted his eyes as he thoroughly examines Youngjae's facial features.

"You can stop now," Youngjae scolded as he took a bite off of his ice cream.

"I'm just intrigued," he says, "you know, we've been working together for how many years now?"

"8 years," Youngjae replies.

"— mind you, all this time I've been only hearing your voice and you know damn well I've tried convincing you multiple times to meet up in person. Hell, I even pulled out the Korean barbecue card and yet you've always refused," Jackson nodded his head, "Honestly, I'm just astounded by our position now."

Youngjae could only sigh.

"I'm amazed, Youngjae," Jackson smiled, "to think all it took was to kill the president." he continued, "you're a man of high desires, d'you know that?"

"Yah. Stop it. You're going too far." Youngjae scolded, "Just eat your ice cream and we can be on our way. Otherwise we'll be late for our meeting—"

Jackson pointed his ice cream towards Youngjae "Yah. Tell me; Does it matter anymore?" he raises his eyebrows, "I mean, we'll be dead either way. We might as well be digging our graves while we're at it."

"How did you find me anyway?" Jackson said in an aggravated tone, "I made sure I left everything back there— everything! No tracks— nothing! And thought to sort things out. Yet here you are."

"I know you well enough to know where you would go," Youngjae replied.

Jackson couldn't believe his ears, "Wuah. You should be an actor. You have style. Good job."
