Shattered

Chapter Five

I wake up to the sound of a video playing. My eyes instantly blinded by the light that's coming in my room. Sighing I rub my eyes which are puffy and itchy still.

Slowly I roll out of bed and open my bedroom door and follow the sound of the video. I see Colby sitting on the couch and then I see me, crying.

My eyes go wide when I realize what the video is. Sam Pepper uploaded the video (video above). Sighing I lean against the door frame and watch as Colby fidgets with his shirt while watching.

Once I yell, "your everything I have" I turn around to go back to my room. I can't watch that again. I hear footsteps and I turn around to see Colby.

"I knew you were standing there. You basically ran back to your room."

"I just don't want to see it, that's all. I've been through it there's no point in seeing it." I answer kinda honestly. Colby nods his head and looks at me.

"So are you doing okay?" Colby asks. I look at him and notice the worry in his eyes. Not wanting him to worry anymore I nod my head.

"Yeah I'm okay. Other than last nights sleep I feel fine." I say lying a 'tad' bit. He nods his head and says a small okay before he walks out of my room.

I hear the bathroom door shut and I sit on the edge of my bed with my flannel like pajama pants on and no shirt. I hear footsteps again and then I see Colby.

"I'm heading out for awhile. I'm gonna go help Brennen out with a video. You going to be okay?"

"Yeah, yeah. I'll be fine. I have to do some things anyways." I say giving him a smile. He smiles back and says bye before he walks away.

Hearing the front door close I pull out my phone and look at all the comments on the YouTube video.

"Poor Sam. Why would anyone do that kind of prank?"

"I just cried so much, oh my god, poor Sam."

"What the actual fuck. What kind of friend would do that?"

"Sam Pepper. Screw you."

I sigh and open up Twitter and see so many things I've been tagged in. Finally I push on "new post" and start typing.

The prank wasn't as bad as you see in the video. I am fine and you guys have nothing to worry about. Sam is still the same old Sam. I'm fine but thank your for the support.

I push post and throw my phone on my bed. If only that post was actually true.
