Walking down the streets I get a small shiver down my spine. I couldn't be in that apartment all by my self. I felt trapped but now I shouldn't of even thought about going on a walk.

I walk by closed shopes, dark alley ways and multiple cars that are parked on the streets. Closing my eyes for a few seconds I take a left to make it back to my apartment quickly.

Getting the thought that someone could be watching or that someone could be in those cars just waiting for someone to walk by them.

Walking for five more minutes I start to see my apartment complex. I start to feel relief in my body until I heard a noise. A noise directly behind me. A noise of a trash can falling over.

I turn around slowly to see a person holding the trash can and trying to pick it up. I keep staring at the guy until he looks at me. Our eyes meeting. He starts to walk toward me and all I do is turn around and start to speed walk.

"Sir! Sir!" The man says in a deep scratchy voice. I start to go even faster until I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to be face to face with the guy.

"Don't do anything to me. Please." I say in fear. The thoughts of my kidnap and Colby's death rushing in my mind.

The guy reaches in his pocket and hands me something. I look at him in shock.

"You dropped your wallet. I was locking up my shop when I saw you walk by."

"O-oh thank you. I'm sorry I w-was scared." I say grabbing the wallet out of his hands.

"It's okay kid." He says turning around and walking off. I breath out and make my way back to my apartment. Once I get inside I see Colby on the couch asleep, the tv on and his phone is his hands.

I sigh and put his phone on the table and turn off the tv while putting a blanket over him.

"Goodnight Colby.
