i was patiently waiting for the doctor to come and do the ultra sound .
there was pictures hung around the room of families, they looked so happy .
there was some of babies , oh how precious.
and there was some of pregnant women, they all looked like amazing mothers .
i looked at jungkook , he was going through a magazine of 'modern parents'
i smiled to myself , he's so geeked over this .
i was honestly super excited to become a mom and love my child endlessly.
"are you nervous?"i asked jungkook.
"honestly i'm just curious."he said as he played with his phone case.
the doctor soon walked back in and smiled , she was a woman in her 30s with bright red lipstick.
"hello ! nayeon ?" she said with excitement in her voice.
"that's me" i smiled at her .
"okay i'm gonna need you to lay down and lift you shirt up so i can see your belly."
as i laid on my back she put this liquid jelly thingy on my belly which was pretty cold .
she put the transducer over the jelly like substance and began moving it around.
thump , thump , thump , thump
"that's the baby's heartbeat !" jungkook said with a big smile on his face.
"your baby is very healthy ." the doctor replied.
" are you ready for the gender reveal???" she said cheerfully .
i nodded and smiled .
"congratulations you will be having a baby girl !"she said with a big smile on her face.

as i heard those i words i immediately felt happiness.
i can't believe it .
i looked at jungkook and he kissed me.
"you're going to be an amazing mother i promise ."he said as he hugged me.
"you're next appointment will be on the 16th , just remember to stay healthy and no alcohol or nonprescription drugs okay?"the doctor told me.
"okay , thankyou !" i said as i got up and walked out the door .
"i still can't believe i'm going to be a father babe ." jungkook said as i walked out of the clinic .
"im honestly so happy , we're going to be amazing parents ."i smiled to him.
"how did you realize you were pregnant?"
" well the morning we met eachother to discuss my report i told you i was feeling nauseous, i kinda had a feeling but i wasn't so sure until i took the test."i said as i licked my lips.
"ahh i remember, i'm really sorry about everything nayeon i really am." he said as we just stood there on the sidewalk .
"don't worry , that was in the past i don't want to be stuck on the past ."
he stood quiet for a good 15 seconds, "i love you so much , you are the woman of my dreams ."
"i love you more."i replied softly .
he looked at me with tears forming in his eyes , "no you don't understand darling , i love you to the point where it hurts. whenever i see you talking to other guys , my stomach aches . and when our eyes meet , oh my god my heart feels like it's about to rip from my chest. it's not healthy , i know . it's almost like a disease , this love cursing through my veins . it's going to destroy me , i know it will . but somehow i think it could save me too."
