"Lucifer, Lucifer" faint feminine voices filled Lucifer's ears as his eye lids slowly rolled open. He was overcome with an immediate grin as he saw them sweetly needing on his arm. "Well good morning lovelies" he responds sitting up, running his eyes all over the scene. His eyes dart over at his phone though which he then reached for and read the most recent text on the screen. His gaze goes from his phone to theirs, "sorry loves but duty unfortunately calls" he says giving them a reassuring smile that meant he would be back for seconds.

"Where were you? I called you like 10 times?" Chloe says abruptly as Lucifer walks into her view. "Sorry, had a rough night. Rough night indeed" Lucifer grins as he meets her side. "Ew, I don't wanna hear about your weird sex life. We're here for a case" she says shooting him a disgusted look. "Right. What have we got" he says looking the scene up and down. ~ They were in a hotel room, 4 star hotel, with a homicide that had a male victim ~ "Well where is the helpless miscreant?" Lucifer said while gazing around the room. Chloe shook her head and guided him into the bathroom. "Oh" was what escaped his lips at the sight. ~ Male lying in a tub with strange symbols carved into the outside rims ~ "35, male, checked into the hotel with his newly wedded second wife when bam stabbed multiple times by her in the back of the neck while enjoying a bath, damn didn't see that one coming bud" Ella said emerging into the room. "Any idea what these symbols are Ella?" Chloe asks closely examining the carves. "No but we're still looking in on it. It might be some sort of cult symbols though" she says joining Chloe at examining. "It looks like nail carvings" Chloe says raising an eyebrow. "Yeah but who would have that sharp of nails?" Ella says gazing up at them. "Or what" Lucifer says clenching his jaw. "Well all we know is that he was stabbed with this" Ella says, handing Chloe a clear bag and inside it was a ripped out faucet that was blood stained, fresh blood. Chloe and Lucifer's eyes widened as they saw the murder weapon. "Seems like our murderer is strong" Lucifer says raising an eyebrow, "strong enough to rip out a faucet" Chloe adds. "Fresh blood, when was it reported?" Chloe asks, gazing up at Ella. "About 2 hours ago, by one of the staff members" Ella says then gestures to outside the hotel room, where a man was standing in the hallway nervously speaking to an officer. Chloe and Lucifer exchange looks then both walk up to the man. "We can take it from here" Chloe says to the officer. "So-" Chloe starts, waiting for a name. "Ben, Ben Dean" the man says as he nervously picks at his hands. "Ben, how did you find the body?" Chloe says pulling out a note pad from her pocket. "I-I um was delivering dinner to the room, and-" Chloe stopped him. "Did they call for room service?" She asked. "Yes but it was a mans voice that ordered." "Okay, continue" Chloe says. "When I didn't hear anything I supposed that I would bring it in on a stand rather than leave it out in the hall. W-we have good customer service" he says shoving his hands in his pockets. "Then as I was putting down the food, I spotted blood on the floor leading to the b-bathroom" he says. "Was there anything else, anyone you could hear or see?" Chloe says scribbling down notes. "No, no ma'm that was it, I just called the police after" he says rocking back and forth. "Okay, thank you for your time" Chloe says nodding than walking back into the room, Lucifer following behind. "Seemed like a nervous fellow" Lucifer says joining her side once more. "Yeah but he isn't our female killer" she says tapping her pen on her chin. "Ella, see if you can find out who the victim is" Chloe says glancing at Ella walking up to them. "Off to the lab then!" she says with a smile on her face that oddly brightened the atmosphere around them.
