*Allyison's POV*

It was late and cold in Seattle, I had just broke up with my Ex and he kicked me out since I was living with him. I had my meager amount of possessions in hand wondering why the fuck I ever left Phoenix. I then remembered I left because like the Ex mom and dad kicked me out. My mom told me that no daughter of here was going to be such a disgrace while living in her home. Dad on the other hand wanted me to stay but he didn't want a fight with mom so he said her decision stood.

That's when I left for Seattle, without turning back. That's also around the time that I met Lucas who is now my Ex. As I continued to walk the night time Seattle air began to get colder. I decided to go to the small diner I spotted just up the road and spend my last but of money on food.

"Hey Allyison." The old man who owned the diner greeted.

"Hey Tommy." I said with a smile.

"Where's Lucas?" He asked noticing that I was alone which was rare.

"Long story short I broke things off with him and he kicked me out." I said trying to keep how scared I was out of my voice.

"Shit Allyison, I'm sorry darling. You want your usual?" He asked looking directly at me.

"It's okay, and yeah the usual sounds great." I said doing my best to smile even though everything in me wanted to cry. Not cry because I was afraid of the streets but cry because I didn't want to be truly alone.

Tommy put the platter of food in front of me. I smiled and thanked him before I started eating all the while there was a group of guys sitting in a booth and one in particular had really long hair and obviously had a taste for Classic Rock. It was easy enough to gather that just by looking at him.

I ate in silence before I was even close to being done the group of guys dispersed. That same guy with with the long hair and a taste for Classic Rock walked over to me and sat across from me.

"Uhm hi." I said not sure what to really say to this guy.

"Hey." He said giving a smile that for some reason made me feel more comfortable.

"Before we go any farther what's your name?" I asked him.

"Uh, Stone, what about you?" He said still looking at me.

     "Allyison." I said with smile.

"Well Allyison, would you like some company tonight, maybe head to your place when you're done?" Stone asked me.

"That's a nice offer Stone, really it is but there's only one problem with that. I have no home." I said finishing the last part it just a whisper. I didn't like admitting that I had no place to go.

"Did I hear that right, a beautiful girl like you is staying on the streets?" Stone asked me his eyes piercing deep into mine.

"Yeah you did, and song feel bad it's my own fault really." I told Stone trying so hard to make him understand I didn't want sympathy or pitty.

I finished eating my food and was about to leave but Stone gently grabbed my arm making me sit again.

"Stone, what's going on I'm leaving?" I said trying to figure this out.

"You have no place to go and I'm not letting you stay on the streets. Come with me." Stone said looking at me waiting for an answer.

"I barely know you, and you barely know me. Why on earth are you being so nice to me?" I asked not sure why Stone cared if I stayed on the streets of not.

"Allyison, you seem like a sweet girl and I want to get to know you better almost as much as I want you be safe." Stone said giving me a quirky smile that I at that moment realized only he could give.

"Alright, you have me won over." I responded with my own cheesy grin.

"Good then let's go." Stone said as he took my hand and lead me back out into the cold. It had probably gotten colder since I walked into the diner because upon leaving I shivered.

"You cold?" Stone asked looking over at me as we continued to walk.

"Yeah just a little." I said with a small nervous smile.

"Well it's not very far now. Once were inside we deal with warming up." Stone said casually as he wrapped one of his strong arms around me. I really did like the feeling of it but I shiver the feelings away because I shouldn't be feeling this way about someone I just met in a diner.

It didn't take long before we approached a small place, or at least it looked small from the outside. We got to the door and Stone unlocked the door, leading me me inside.

"Sorry the place is a little bit of a mess." Stone said placed a hand in the back of his head nervously.

"It's okay Stone." I said with a smile.

"Well, I'm kinda tired uhm the other room is really messy so him until I clean it up you can just stay in my room with me." He said just as nervous.

"That's fine with me." I said trying not to show how nervous I had become when he said that.

"Well let's go." He said leading the way.

We walked into his room which was a little dirty but not bad, he laid down and laid beside him. It was a little odd but I tried to ignore it and sleep. It had been a rough day and I needed to try to forget the day for a little while because Lucas put me through hell. It took me some time to fall asleep. I was too tired to sleep. Although eventually  I did find sleep.
