*Allyison's POV*

It was time for the big dinner. It my dad myself, Stone, Clark, Rosie, Aunt Claire, and my mom. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but knowing my my mom it would be a fight. Stone and I showed up with  Clark and Rosie.

"Allyison, thank you for going through all of this." Dad whispered as he gave me a hug.

Dinner seemed to be going alright my mom hadn't tried to make a scene but that night was still early which left plenty of opportunity for that to happen.

"Allyison can I speak with you." My mom said in the most civil tone I had heard her use with me in years.

"What is it mom?" I asked giving her the same respect she was giving me.

"Allyison, I'm sorry for the way I've treated you. I really am, I should've never cast you away especially when you needed me the most." She said and I could see the regret and hurt in her eyes.

"You don't know how long I've waited to heart you say that mom. I still love you, I always have I just wanted to you love me for me." I said as I hugged my mom for the first time in years.

"So who's the guy you brought with you?" She asked with a smile that I hadn't seen on her face in years.

"That's my boyfriend Stone." I told her with a smile. The words felt weird on my tongue but I liked it.

"Well Allyison, he seems to love you, and how do you feel about him?" She asked wanting my opinion.

"I love him to death mom, he held me when I cried over our fight. He saw me at my worst and still loved me. That's all I could ever ask for." I said with a smile.

"I'm really happy for you Allyison. I just wish I would've been a better mother to you your teenage years." She said as a test escaped her eyes.

"Mom I can forgive you, you should forgive yourself." I said as I hugged her again.

I didn't notice my dad was standing there smiling.

"My girls finally made up." Dad said letting us both know he was watching.

"Yes we did." Mom said with a smile. Clark and Rosie came in and joined what wound up being a group hug.

*One Days Later Back in Seattle*

"Stone, thank you for coming with me back home. I don't think I would've gotten through it without you." I told him as I pecked his lips. He smiled into the kiss before breaking it to speak.

"It's no big deal, Allyison I love you and would do anything for you." He said smiling once again. I kissed him just as Eddie and the rest of his band arrived to hang out since we'd been gone almost a week.

"Awe that's cute, how long has this been going on?" Jeff said as he put an arm around Stone and I.

"Since the second day of our trip back to her home town." Stone told him. I just couldn't help but smile.

"Well congrats guys!" Mike said flashing a stupid grin.

        "How was Phoenix?" Eddie asked.

"A lot warmer than I'm used to." Stone said with a laugh.

"What woah, Allyison your face." Eddie said reminding me that I still had a busted lip and splits all over my head.

"Oh yeah, uhm my mom and I kinda beat the shit out of each other. This is what she did to my face." I said not exactly wanting to tell them but I knew I had no choice.

"Your mother did that to you?" Eddie asked in disbelief.

"Yeah she did because according to her I was never the perfect child. She hated me because I was female. Then last night before we left she apologized to me and actually treated me like she cared. Which shocked me because she was the one who kicked me out when I was sixteen." I told everyone in the room. Stone already knew this but Eddie, Jeff, Mike and Dave didn't know that.

"Damn that's just fucked." Mike said.

"Yeah I know, I'm just glad to be back here." I told them with a grin.

We sat around talking for what wound up being four hours before the guys went their separate ways. Once everything died down and was fairly quiet I couldn't help but think about the way things went back home.

My mom actually tried to start making up to me. I also couldn't help but wonder how long that would last. It seemed to me like it was too good to be true.

"You okay?" He asked making me jump slightly.

"Yeah I was just thinking about nothing and everything all at once." I replied with a smile.

"Okay." He said giving me a grin that made me smile every time I saw it.

I eventually wound up falling asleep on the couch. I wasn't sure how long I was out but when I woke up I was in the bed Stone was next to me. I looked at the alarm clock and it was just after 3:00 in the morning. I laid back down still tired and tried to go back to sleep but as tired as I was I was having trouble falling asleep.

*         *         *

It was morning and I felt wide awake. Stone still laid asleep next to me. I got up and walked out of the room. I walked into the living room and went to do the door to sit outside for a while.

For morning in Seattle it wasn't that cold, it was quite enjoyable.

*Stone's POV*

When I woke up Allyison wasn't next to me. I walked into the living room and she wasn't there. I looked outside and she was sitting on the front porch. I walked out to join her.

"Enjoying the morining?" I asked as I say next to her.

"Yeah even more now that your up." She said with a smile as she laid her head on my shoulder.
