Marley's POV- Saturday Morning

Buzz Buzz Buzz!!!

Alarms! Why the fuck did they exist? Sure they would sometimes prevent you from being late but they were just so irritating! Slamming a hand against my phone, the sound stopped instantly. This could have been a chance for me to get just a little more sleep, however I had to be at work in just less than an hour.

Sitting up in my double bed, I blinked a few times whilst letting out a loud yawn. I felt like utter shit! All night I had been unable to fall asleep, being way to preoccupied thinking about him.Noel Gallagher. I'd been staring at the ceiling until nearly five in the morning, thought after thought running through my mind. I was unable to get that man out of my mind!

Was it just because of his fame or was there something more there? I couldn't quite work it out. One thing was for sure, I needed to see him again...

As I stumbled sleepily around my bedroom, collecting the correct attire for my job, more thoughts of him filled my head. I couldn't help wishing he would come back to the Cafe, though I highly doubted he would. There were so many places in London that were so much better, besides he didn't feel anything for me. I was just some random waitress that he would soon forget.

Once I was finally dressed in my daily clothes,a red polo shirt, black jeans and some Doc Martins, I looked at myself in the mirror. Generally I didn't wear makeup to work, I didn't see the point, however I wanted to look my best for Noel. Just incase he payed me a visit. I grabbed a handful of products from my dresser, not fully understanding what to do with most of them, and began slathering them onto my face. The end result was surprisingly good, dewy skin, filled in brows and two even eyeliner flicks.

After I was completely finished getting ready, I glanced at the time on my phone. Oh Fuck! 8:30! I had to be at work for 8:45 and it most definitely took me longer than that to drive there. Great, because of my little endeavour to look good for a man I may or may not see, I was going to be late for work.

Snatching up my iPhone, packet of cigarets and purse, I dashed out of my tiny apartment. I ran along the cold corridor and practically threw myself down the set of stairs, determined to get to the Cafe as fast as I could. As I had said before, I couldn't afford to loose this job. It was my only source of income, even if the pay was pitiful.

I finally managed to get into my car, a cheep Audi A1 that originally belonged to my sister, and started it up. The engine made that familiar rattling sound as I drove swiftly along the dreary streets of North London, building passing me by in a flash. I was slightly worried that I would be pulled over for speeding as I was exceeding the limit greatly. Luckily, nobody seemed to give a care as I sped along. Stopping at a traffic light, I decided to put a little music on. I was panicking about being late for work and music generally calmed me down when I got overly stressed.

Connecting my phone to the car via an aux chord, I clicked on my iTunes app and hit shuffle as the lights changed to green. Instantly, a song I recognised all to well began to boom out of the speakers. Don't look back in anger. God damn it, that man was unknowingly following me everywhere. He was in my mind, now he was in my phone. Of course I didn't turn the song of, it was way to good of a tune to do that. Instead, I turned the volume up a little more and sang along loudly, earning a few odd looks from fellow drivers that passed by.
