When they left the room everything was so silent, I wanted to comfort her. But I didn't know what to say. I hear her crying, sobbing, covered under her blanket. My heart broke at every sob that left her mouth.

I was a coward, even if I said that I wasn't afraid of her, I was. I was scared that she'd attack me, the idea of her being a criminal didn't left my mind. I hate myself at this time, I couldn't even talk because of my fear.

She was broke and I didn't even bother to say a simply 'it's okay' or an 'it will be okay', nothing. I was ashamed of myself, I'll always regret this day, forever.

After two hours, the door opened. It was Emma.

"Good news, Lynae!" she startled both of us, but Lynae's face brightened so it was worth it.

"Tell me please" she said in excitement, yet a bit sad, with a red face and swollen eyes because of the crying.

"I found one of the best fetal surgeon of the world just a few miles away from here" Emma happily said "She studied it from the best one, but that one is blind now so... But we have her best trainee, well, the only one actually" just when I saw a little of hope on the girls eyes, it shattered away "The problem is... They aren't allowed to come here since it's a dangerous space for the people..."

"Are you kidding me?!? Like if we were fucking animals. AHHHG" she screamed in frustration.

"So, I asked for a trial. Since the baby did nothing wrong, he deserves to be born. I'm sure we will win it"

"If you say it... It must be true, or else I get really angry"

"You won't have to, I promise"
