Most things start with a bang. The Universe, War, Countries. In this case, a country was borne. many people say it started with a dream; a dream to have a place the people from the religion of islam could be free from the few terrible opressors in the beautiful nation of India. Many are also taught that, up until the country formed, along with the change from East Pakistan to Bangladesh, that Pakistan had a peaceful formation until the bang that came with partition.
One man, one dream later turned into the millions of thousands of people and one nation. This is the story one girl, one Sikh girl and her tale of partition.

Piya Kaur was a fifteen seven month and 10 days year old girl. Similar to many people living in Pakistan, her roots were made up of Indian heritage and also similarly to many north Indians her roots also contained Iraqi blood, when the rivers dried up in Iraq, in fear of being dehydrated to death, her ancestors migrated east, fleeing to the Indian peninsula due to the water rich land containing three major rivers running through it, coming as cloth merchants, their lives were rewritten with Punjab becoming their small haven, a scope of freedom. They lived in Chandigarh, the Punjabi capital. The further the grains of time slipped through the fingers of the years, the more her once pure Iraqi blood had integrated with the Punjabi blood of her forefathers who later moved to Pakistan ( Although it was not called Pakistan back then) in the hope that a new life- an improved life lay ahead for their children.
