Archie Pov
Everything has been going great between me an Ronnie lately we're spending so much time together that I'm beginning to miss someone, well she's not just someone she's Betty cooper..... the girl next door, my best friend since as long as I can remember and someone who I thought was my soulmate. As I arrived in the halls of Riverdale High I grab the books I needed for first period, the pictures on my locker were all of me and Betty I feel kinda guilty that I have none of Ronnie. I went into the lounge where we all hang out during break and after class as Cheryl likes to call us the sad breakfast club. I give Ronnie a hello kiss and greet the others.
Betty Pov
I received a letter this morning guys" and guess what it said!
What ?the core 4 said in union. "That I got an early acceptance offer in the New York writing program I thought I would never get in"
At this point I was standing up too happy to sit down.
Archie pov
"That's awesome news betty " betty jumped into my arms which turned into a hug . I wrapped my hands around her not wanting to let go!
Veronica POV
"That's great b!
As I see Betty and Archie hug I get this intuition that something beyond friendship is between these two something deeper something I could never give archie. The hug lasted long than anyone expected until eventually I spoke up "archikins you ready to leave?
Yeah sure Ronnie Archie replied finally letting go of the girl next door.
It was almost as if he didn't wanna let go of her ...
