Archie pov:
Today's the big day the game for the season and the whole team is depending on me
"Andrews show them out there that bulldogs are winning tonight -Reggie
Coach-"we have college reps out there too so show them scholarship worthy
This would so help my dad if I got a football scholarship tonight it was about that!
The match soon about to start the River Vixens were already cheering, but my eye was mostly on Betty....
We scored ahead tonight we were winning it was going great until I saw Betty starting to leave the game I saw her walking up the stairs away from the vixens my eyes followed her then back to the team in front of me waiting on me to make the next plan. "Sorry boys
I took of my helmet and started to leave the field when coach Clayton stopped me. coach-" Andrews where are you going you need to I'mpress those scouts you need this "no coach you don't need me. She's leaving the game coach for some reason and I can't win this game if she's not here......
"Your captain now - I say to Reggie
I hear people chanting my name to come back I ignore them and try to catch up with Betty as she's nearly gone walking up the stairs.
"Archie! Veronica says where are you goin!
"Ronnie I'm sorry but I can't do this anymore I... she doesn't let me finish my sentence.
"Don't! Say her name I always saw this day coming but I chose to ignore it cause for some scrwed up reason I thought you would choose me and not her.....
"I'm sorry Ronnie
"Your sorrry?
I was about to slap him but he took off after the girl next door
I leave Veronica's sight and call for Betty's name "Betty!
She turns around surprised
"Arch what are you doing
Her eyebrows knit together as she says my name
"Betty I have to get something off my chest and if I don't do it now I don't think I ever can,
(Small pause) I grab her small hand into mine "I......
Out of nowhere there's a gunshot, I turn to see what's going on and see the blackhood in the middle of the field, with his gun up in the air!
