Archie POV:When I came home from school all I could think about was how happy I was for Betty and what if I never see her again when she goes off to New York "archikens Veronica calls out my name "I'm upstairs I say back.
"Archie what was that all about back in school with you and Betty it was almost as if you guys were a couple
"Ronnie .... what you saw was two best friends sharing a friendly moment nothing more I love you. A little part of me knew I was lying to myself about my feelings but until I know what they are I have to tell myself I love ronnie.
"Okay I believe you -Veronica whisperes and then we begin to kiss she starts removing my clothes which means we're about to have sex... like we usually do after we bicker.
Veronica POV: we lay there in his bed and I start circling his stomach with my fingers " I love you archie
"Me too Ronnie
Why didn't he say it back.
"Want me to make us something to eat -Archie's asks like he desperately needed to leave
"I would love that archikins - I kiss him goodbye
I started to look around his bedroom and see a picture of him and bed above his bed. I found this really weird because we just had sex under it. As I climb out of the bed to head to his bathroom I step on something hard I look and see , it was a small box the ones that have proposal rings in them. OMG is Archie gonna propose I mean we're only 16 but I can wait till I turn 18! I open the box and get a little confused because it looks like a cheap fake toy ring, when I take out the ring i see the name Betty Cooper it all starts to make sense now, the ring archie proposed to Betty with in the second grade. He kept it all this time and probably waiting for when she turns 18.
