Tobias' POV
I look up at Evelyn. What does she mean there isn't enough room for Tris?
"What the hell are you talking about?" I say. "What do you mean there isn't enough room for her only about 500 people have signed up so far."
"I'm sorry" she starts. "but I don't let whores that date my son in dauntless."
I see Tris move in the corner of my eye. Uh oh. I know what she's about to do. I grab her waist as she lunges towards Evelyn screaming.
"Tris stop" I say.
I finally let go of her and she slowly walks towards Evelyn every step in front of the other, like a predator hunting their pray.
"You are letting me in dauntless" she says quietly. "You are not the boss of me."
"Fine" says Evelyn. "but you better watch your back."
With that she walks away. I turn towards Tris and look her in the eye grabbing her hand.
"Come on. Lets go pack our stuff and go back to dauntless"
"Okay" she says.
*page break*
Me and Tris walk into my old apartment. We will both be living here for now. We set our stuff down and I go and clean out some drawers for her to put her stuff in.
"Oh Tobias I won't need much room" she says.
"It's fine. I didn't really need that space any ways."
She looks at me and smiles then starts putting her stuff away. I finish putting my stuff away and turn around to see Tris just finishing up. I walk over to her and from behind her wrap my hands around her waist. She jumps a little bit scared.
"Tobias you scared me to death."
"That was the whole point" I say.
Still behind her I start to kiss her neck. She sighs and turns around in my arms and fits her mouth to mine. We start to make out for who knows how long. I pull back before we get anymore serious and ask her if she wants to go to the cafeteria.
She agrees and we walk out locking the door behind us. When we get there we see Zeke, Christina, and Shauna. Christina runs up to us and hugs Tris.
She jumps up and down excited about something.
"OH MY GOD. DID YOU GUYS HEAR WHAT HAPPENED" she screams.
Tris putting her hands down from her ears says "no, what is it?"
"Well since the factions are back up they are going to have a choosing ceremony. I also heard that you guys get to train the transfers" she says.
"What" me and Tris say at the same time. "We never agreed to that" I say.
"Well they said that's what your doing" Christina says.
"Fine" me and Tris both say again.
"Isn't it so exciting that factions are back?" Christina says.
"I don't know Chris" Tris starts. "This whole war thing happened because of the factions."
"Well I think it's great" she says skipping back into the lunch room.
Me and Tris go back to my- I mean our apartment. I will never get tired of saying that. When we get in we change into clothes for bed. I get into bed and wait for Tris.
She comes out just wearing a t-shirt of mine that fits me fine but is large and long on her. It goes to mid thigh on her. Wow, I think. She looks great.
"Thank you" I hear her say and I canntell she's blushing.
I look over at her confused then the pieces come together in my mind.
"I said that out loud didn't I?"
"Yes you did" she says.
She slides into bed and I wrap my arms around her.
"I love you Tris"
"I love you too" I hear her say back.
I smile and then we both fall asleep not knowing what to expect when we wake up.
