Bakit nga ba sila pumapatay ng walang dahilan? Bakit nila ito ginagawa? Para kanino? Magkakamag-anak kaya sila?. Ang mga tanong na bigla ko nalang naisip

Nag search ako about sa Psychopaths at may mga different types ang mga ito.

1. Interpersonal: Glib and Superficial charm, Grandiose sense of self worth, Deceitful/manipulative, Pathological lying, Many short term marital relationship

2. Affect (means emotion/expression): Lacks remorse or guilt, Lacks empathy, Shallow affect, Doesn’t accept responsibility, Need for stimulation or proneness to boredom

3. Lifestyle: Is impulsive, Lacks long term realistic goal, Is irresponsible, Parasitic lifestyle, Promiscuous sexual behavior

4. Anti-social (the person has a history of): Poor behavioral control, Adolescent anti-social behavior, Adult anti-social behavior, Revocation of conditional issue, Criminal versatility

Psychopathy sub-type:

1. Classic style: Who score high on all four domains

These are violent criminals, sex offenders, con artists, serial killers. They will probably end up in prison. Much of the fear associated with psychopathy is because of them and macho type.

2. Manipulative style: Who score high on interpersonal and affective domain and somewhat low in lifestyle and anti-social domain.

Some Violent psychopaths along with top CEOs, lawyers, surgeons, salespersons, media persons, journalists, police officers, clergy persons, chefs score in this pattern. We can call them sub-criminal psychopaths.

3. Macho style: Scores high in all four except interpersonal domain.

These are cold blooded offenders who invariably use violent means, they lack the charm, confidence, and manipulative ability of classical type, so resort into violence. 

When psychopaths are examined under Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), a tool to study adult personality, four type of psychopaths emerge

Type 1: Scores highly on extroversion, impulsivity, aggression, suspicion, and psychopathic deviate scales; low on tension, autistic thinking, shyness and depression scales.This group is therefore undersocialized, impulsive, aggressive, extrapunitive, and relatively lacking in anxiety or other subjective disturbance.

Type 2: Scores high on all scales except extroversion and lying. The high level of anxiety, depression, social avoidance and other subjective disturbance suggests that this group is guilt prone and hence would not comply with the traditional concept of the psychopath. However, the members of this group are somewhat more hostile, aggressive, impulsive, and undersocialized than those in Type 1.

Difference between type 1 and 2 is type 1 is highly extraverted but not neurotic, type 2 is highly neurotic but not extraverted. Dangerous criminals are under type 1 classification.

Type 3: Scores at a uniformly low level on all scales except extroversion and lying. This pattern suggests defensive denial of psychological problem and high degree of control need.
