I, for whatever horrid reason there is, found myself in a situation that had me rethinking my entire life decisions.

Just when I'm about to go back home with a plan to jog around the neighborhood, Suhyeon swooped in like the jerk he is and dragged me along their journey.

Ignoring the curious gazes of his two male friends, I endured and ended up standing with them inside a pool hall in North Gangbuk.

The guy with glasses and looks like a man in his 40's stood with a worried expression. Despite being friends with Suhyeon, I guess he's still scared of this thug lifestyle.

Yet, Yang Gukja is the man I have to show my gratitude for. If it weren't for him, my brother might still be bullied by Changdong. It was too late for me to know about it, so I'm glad it didn't result into a worse case scenario.

The same can't be said to a freshman with no eyebrows. I can only narrow my eyes at him, and he's not oblivious to the judgemental gaze I'm shooting at him.

He's the reason why Suhyeon had no choice but to accept the position of Top Dog in the first place.

Hyeondong Lee, a man with immense loyalty to Suhyeon that he considers his liege, currently looks scared shitless and doubtful with my brother's decision to attack the North.

"S-Suhyeon...are you sure this is the right thing for us to do?" Hyeondong asked as beads of sweat rolled down the side of his face. "Attacking North Gangbuk instead of South or East—"

"Yep!" My brother didn't even give him the chance to finish his question. He looks proud and confident with that smile plastered on his face. "We can expand our territory at any time!"

I stood behind them, yet despite not being my intention, I still towered above them all. In the corner of my eye, Gukja cowered at my figure that casted a shadow upon him.

This is why I dislike going out with other people. Why do they always fear me because of my height and build that resembles a thug that can beat them to a bloody pulp?

I may look athletic, but not once did I ever try to swing a punch at another person. I'm not sure if I have the guts to explore another side of myself that I have no idea about.

"What we really need are more people who're good at fighting!" Suhyeon continued his explanation. "We'll get the leader here to join our crew!"

His plan actually makes sense. If he'll be able to get away from this unscathed, then it's a win for him.

"But Suhyeon..." Hyeondong thinks otherwise, hesitating to trust the latter. "...if we launch a strike against the sizable North Gangbuk forces...and if North Gangbuk strikes back, we're doomed."
