Chapter 4

The moms reactions shocked you. Christi was smiling and clapping and so was Kelly and holly. You look over and see Melissa and Jill roll their eyes.

You think they were so nice to me at the meet and greet. Was it just an act.

The girls reactions you thought would be like why is she here.

The girls run into a group hug with you in the middle. You realize this is all going to be on the show and hug them back.

Abby then states about what happened to them last weekend. It didn't sound like a great competition which is probably why she brought you in.

Then she states the assignments.

"Ok girls this week we will be going to in10sity. I have 4 solos 1 duet a trio and a group."

You get nervous. Will it be me?

"My first solo is going to Brooke. You will be doing a lyrical acro piece called A thousand Years."

"The next solo is going to Mackenzie. It is called Naughty. I need to see you act for your upcoming music video."

You realize this is the video that they said they were going to cast for on the show and think wow I can be in it!"

" The next goes to Chloe and it is called When I Was Yours it is lyrical I need emotion and confidence."

You clap for chloe and smile at her.

"My last solo is going to (your name). It is a lyrical piece called Quiet. You want everyone to stop teasing you and then you finally can't hear them any more. These are the voices in your head."

Your smile is huge and you just nod.

You then realize there are a lot of assignments this week.

"For my duet I have Chloe and (your name)! I saw you guys become close at the meet and greet and want to see how well you work together. Your duet is called Loud and it is jazz"

You hug chloe and she hugs you back.

" My trio will be Maddie Mackenzie and Kendall. It is called I Know It's Today. since you all look alike it is about a girl who is trapped and grows up through the piece waiting for her Prince Charming and it is musical theater."

You clap and smile.

"Our group is called When I Grow Up and everyone is in it including (your name). It is contemporary and I expect to win."

You clap and smile

" Oh yeah one last thing, CADC will be there and they found out about (your name) so they took one of their dancers in all the same categories that (your name) is doing. so good luck! spread out and stretch."

Your jaw drops and you know this week has to be the best you danced ever in your life.
