Lock Down

George's POV:

Panic. All I can sense is panic. There was a lockdown in process I could see Will wandering around the classroom panic in his eyes looking for something however when he sees me his posture visibly relaxes until he remembers what is happening then he panics again. Running upto me he engulfs me into a hug and we just stand there embracing eachother and decide to go sit in the corner with everyone else in the class I wrap my arm around him to try and calm him down and he seems to lean into me so I bravely place my hand in his in which he just squeezes it in return everyone was crying and worrying about weather they would make it or not including Ash so I try to lighten the mood by singing our favourite song called Lez be friends by some people called the midnight beast as soon as I start to sing Will joins in and half way through the song we both burst into a laughing fit as the siren in the song liked up with the one playing loudly through the speakers.

soon after we stop singing a bunch of songs by them the sirens stop and we all think its safe so as we start to stand up; we see a hooded figure outside and hoodies are banned in this school so I grab Will

"Will if we dont make it through this I just want you to know that I love you and have ever since I layed eyes on you, you make me feel happier than I ever have been before and I understand if you dont feel the-" Will shut me up by kissing me and for a moment I forget what is happening and just focus on him. The hooded figure enters and it turns out that it was just a drill and the figure was Mr Gum dressed up to make it feel more authentic.

"Hey umm, Will do you want to go to homecoming with me?"

"sure I would love to"

God how I will remember that drill for more reasons than one.
