George's tail swung behind him as he was cutting my hair. I wrap my own tail around his waist splashing water in the process. For you see getting your hair cut when you are a mermaid is really difficult seeing as you have water all around you and so you cant get a good even cut so, George offered to cut it for me, and at first, I pushed him away and laughed in his face. Grabbing my hair, he sat me on his lap and started tugging on my hair, pulling in in every direction occasionally cutting strips off.
"Hold still, or it will look wonky!" He barked
"Sorry! it's just weird" he stops and turns me to face him
"what makes it weird?" I let out a sigh of frustration
" I don't know I think it's just because of the fact that I am literally in your lap floating in the sea away from my friends- I don't know" He shoots me a sympathetic look and pulls me off of his lap and we start to swim away.
George has left me alone. So here I am, looking in the mirror at my new haircut raking my hands through it humming in acceptance and I feel a blush creep up to my cheeks. I ask my dad to call George over as I need to tell him something.
"hi, so you are probably wondering why I called you here" he looks at me telling me to continue
"Well, I kinda like you, like a lot. It hurts sometimes to see you swimming around without a care in the world almost as if you don't see the amount that I care for you and it really hurts sometimes" he pauses
"I like you too" I scream and jump on him. We swim in circles around each other. When we come back down he presses a soft kiss to my lips.
