Chapter 1

Armoni P.O.V

"BEEP!!...BEEP!!...BEEP!!"

I woke up to my alarm clock which read 6:30 school ain't start til bout 7 so I had a few moments to chill. I went to the bathroom, did my hygiene routine, and went to go pick ou an outfit "It's my first day at a new school so i gotta look bangin'" I said to myself going thru clothes. After about a few minutes later I wound up wearing a Yankee's baseball jersey, black skinny jeans, and my Jordan 11 retros. I grabbed my beats, book sack and phone and headed to kitchen for breakfast. I was expected to see my ma but all I saw was note saying

Dear Armoni,

I had to leave on another business trip in California, I might be gone for a few months close to a year. I'm sorry I had to leave on short notice knowing we just got settled but I have to do what I have to do

I whispered "I love you to," as I balled up the note and threw it away I mean we just got here and she's already gone, but its ok tho I'm used to this. I finished eating my cereal and grabbed my keys to the new Audi my mom got me (Did I mention we was rich?? aha) and drove off to school. It was called Brooklyn Heights High School (made up)

When I finally made it I headed straight to the office to get my schedule of course I got boys whistling at me and screaming "daaaaaaaaaaamn!" And the occasionally dirty looks from the hoes but I just shook it off they ain't on my level yet. I got my schedule and headed to my first class which was English.

August P.O.V

"Ugh damn ima be late again if ion leave" I said getting dressed

"Really do u have to go?" She asked looking sad

"Yea bye Nicole" I said getting out the car

Yea I guess you could say I'm a player well yea I get any hoe I want in this school ion catch feelings no strings attached. I hurried into the school ran down the hallway and snuck into class. Lucky for me our lazy ass teacher ain't notice me come in.

"You had another fuck and duck huh?" my boy Chris asked

"Yea it was Nicole she just gave me head nothing major"

"Oh that's wassup she is mighty fine" he said laughing and dapping me up.

After that me and the crew were just laughing and joking around when this girl walked in. She had dark brown eyes, pretty smile with dimples, had long dark brown hair with blonde tips, could dress, had major shoe game, was a red bone with nice curves, and was thick as hell man I ain't gonna lie shawty gotta body, but she seem too stuck up for me.

"Excuse me class, but we have a new student," Mrs.Stewart said, "why don't you introduce yourself"

"We'll I'm Armoni but u can call me Ari or Moni and ion fuck with no bitch," she said laughing with everybody else

"You can have a seat now Miss Cole, you can sit right there in the back by Mr.Alsina, August raise your hand"

I raised my hand while rolling my eyes she came and sat down and started introducing ourselves

"Hey wassup I'm Chris and this is Aug, Cassie,Niko,Tracy, and Tyson" I said pointing at everybody

"Well nice to meet y'all I'm Armoni but y'all can call me Ari or

Moni"

"That's wassup so Moni, where you from?" Tyson asked

"I'm from the ATL" she said

"Ayeeeeee" Chris said laughing a bit

"We'll you can hang with us during study hall if you want?" Tracy asked

"Alright cool" she said

Moni (Armoni) P.O.V

I was walking to class with Cassie and Tracy to second period which was Science which I hate. We all sat in the back together talking and playing on Twitter and Insta. Half through the class I started tuning everything out cause I couldn't stop thinking about August. He had caramel skin, about 5'9, had dark brown eyes, had major shoe game, tatted up, and had big plump pink lips that made me feel I was in heaven just thinking about kissing them. Don't get me wrong he fine as hell but he so rude and has the worst attitude he wouldn't even speak to me and obviously he player and ion have time for that. I was just sitting there daydreaming when I was snapped out of my thoughts when the teacher called on me.

"Miss Cole would you like to answer the question?" he said with an attitude

"Uh.. what was it?" I said a little embarrassed

"Il let you slid this time because your new but next time you better pay attention!" He yelled and turned around

"Bitch" I mumbled

"So Moni you wanna come over and chill with us after school, August will be there" Cassie said smirking

"What you smirking for?" I said laughing

"I saw the way you was looking at him in first period and by the way you was daydreaming I know you was thinking about him"

I can't lie and say that I wasn't but ion think he's my type he seems like a player and ion have time for going back down that road again. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Cassie and Tracy clapping in my face

"Huh?!" I said jumping

"The bell rung lets go" they said laughing

I grabbed my stuff and we headed to study hall lucky for us we all had it in the same period.

"Wassup Moni" Chris said giving me a hug

"Nothing coolin wassup y'all"

"Hey" Tyson and Niko said and went back to playing on their phone

Aug just rolled his eyes and played on his phone I was gonna speak to him but he gotta fix that attitude first, he got me fucked up If he think he gon mess over me like that. After that it just got silent everybody was either listening to music or on Insta.

"Okaay so all of y'all still on for tonight at my place" Cassie asked breaking the silence

"Yea I guess that's cool"

everybody said except Aug

"Nah we got plans remember " he said looking up at the guys

"Oh yea I forgot " Niko said chuckling nervously and nudged Tyson and Chris

"Huh, oh yea yea we got something to do" they both said with a fake smile

We were talking and laughing for a few seconds when Chris gotta text

"Matter of fact," Chris said standing up "we gotta leave now"

"Bye everybody" they all said leaving

Me and the girls knew they were hiding something but we jus let it go. It was the end of the day so I met up with Tracy and Cassie in the parking lot

"So I guess it's just us three tonight y'all" Tracy said

"Yea well here's my address you can go home get dressed and meet us their" Cassie said handing me her address

"Alright cool see y'all there"

I walked to my Audi started it then drove off. I think I might like it her in Brooklyn.
