Chapter 18

Aug P.O.V

I sneaked in the house since it was still dark out and I knew Moni was still sleep, plus I don't want King to see me like this. I was still a lil tipsy and a bit high but I could still walk straight up without stumbling much, until I knocked down a vase, shit, I waited around to see if anybody was gone come down to see who it was, but nobody came, yes! I don't remember a thing that happened at the party so I hope Moni don't come ate with a bunch of questions speaking of which, I'm surprised she ain't been blowing my phone up. I pulled it out my back pocket and checked it and it was just a bunch of text and missed calls from Chris, so I decided to call him back.

"Hello, Aug?" he said

"Yeah."

"Good, you ight." he said kind of relieved

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I asked confused

"Well, you were acting kind of wild last night at he club."

"I was, what happened?"

"First, you drunk about 10 shots, then, you smoked about 3 to 5 blunts, and then, you fucked almost every bitch in there, I tried to stop you but you wouldn't listen."

"Damn, really, now what ima do if Moni finds out?"

"Finds out what?" Somebody asked, it was Moni, she flipped on the lights and just stood there with her arms folded with a bat in one hand, shit

Moni P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of one of my vases breaking. I shrugged it off thinking it was just my imagination, then again it could be a robber, oh hell nah! I jumped out the bed threw on some jogging pants, a t-shirt, and my Nike sliders, then grabbed my bat and snuck downstairs. when I was about on the last step I heard somebody talking, it was August.

"Damn, really, now what ima do if Moni finds out?" I heard him say before I interrupted

"Finds out what?" I said walking all the way down the steps and flipping on the lights

"Ima call you back," he said into the phone before I asked again

"Finds out what," I asked repeating myself "and why the hell you coming in so late?"

"Look Moni not right now, ion have time for all that yelling and shit."

"Oh but you had time to stay out all...wait what the fuck is that?" I said pointing to his neck

"Nothing, what you talking about." he said covering it until I pushed his hand out the way

"I-is that a hickey!?"

"Look Moni...GCO

"Oh, so now your cheating on me!?"

"Will you please just let me fucking explain!" he yelled

"What, what is there to explain, what you gonna explain the fact why you cheated, or why you were out so late?!"

"LOOK MONI MAYBE I CHEATED ON YO ASS BECAUSE YOU IS FUCKING AGGRIVATING, YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO GET YOUR WAY IN AN ARGUMENT AND ALWAYS GETTING ME INTO SHIT THAT DONT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WIH ME!"

After he said that I just felt tears streaming down my face and just stood there shocked as hell. I couldn't believe he just yelled at me, turning it all on me, and getting mad at me when he was the one sneaking around cheating. you know what I don't have to put up with this shit from him, not anymore.

"Moni, b-baby I'm sor...GCO

"save it!" I yelled running upstairs to our room

I ran to the closet grabbed a suitcase and started packing everything I needed and could fit in it. then August came running in there.

"What are you doing?" he asked

"What does it look like?" I snapped

"Your not leaving." he said seriously

"Watch me!" I said back challenging him

He ran over to me and snatched my suitcase and threw it to the other side of the room and pinned me on the bed tightening his grip on my wrist, and surely leaving bruises. I tried to get up but he was to strong, so I did something I knew I was gon regret, I kicked him in the dick. she immediately shot up and rolled off me and that bought me some time to put my stuff back in my suitcase and run down the hall to King's room.

"King?" I said pushing him lightly

"Yes mama?" he said opening his eyes a little

"C'mon and pack some clothes, were going away for a while."

"W-why?" He asked with sadness in his eyes

"I-I can't explain it, just do as I said."

"Ok." he said getting up and running to his closet as I ran downstairs and put to the car

It was pouring outside and I didn't have my umbrella with me, and I wasn't going back in that house because by now August probably downstairs looking for me. I sat on the doorstep waiting for King while I rubbed my wrist and cried a little. I immediately stopped crying when King ran outside with his suitcase, I put him and the suitcases I'm the car, got in the drivers seat and we took off. about 1 block down from the house I saw Aug in the rear view mirror yelling something after us, but that just made me push on the gas faster. Leaving our house and all the memories we had.

"Mommy, why are we leaving daddy?" King asked still looking out the back window and the now gone August

"Don't worry about it baby, you'll understand when your older." I said shedding a small tear

"Ok mama." he said before falling asleep

Now we were on our own, with the past behind us.

Aug P.O.V

I couldn't believe it. she left. I never thought this would happen to us, it's ally fault. I yelled at her, threw her stuff all over the place, and I even put my hands on her! now I know for sure we were over. I ain't never want us to end like this, especially with a big ass fight like we just had. but what could I do, she was gone, with my son!, and never to return.
