Seasick tears

Katelyn's pov
A few hours sailing and I'm already barfing my lunch over the side of the boat. That burn in the back of my throat like I've been vomiting up stomach acid. I probably have. I couldn't think of anything else; just the sickening bubbling in my gut.

So when a small tug on my shirt happened, I have to admit, I freaked.   Tensing my muscles I focus on my stomach, when I was sure no more vile was coming I carefully turn around to face the other. I lean on the side of the boat, my left hand keeping me steady while my right rests on my belly. Crossing finger I can keep it settled. Kawaii~chan stood their, a streaming mug in her hands giving off a familiar aroma.

"Ginger to help katelyn~sama's tummy ache" kawaii~chan sweet voice murmurs while she presents the cup towards me.

I smile thankfully taking the warm drink from her hands. Holding it carefully in both of mine. "Oh my Irene, your a life saving kawaii~chan!" I practically shout before I hunch over to sip at the ginger drink already feeling relieved.

Kawaii~chan pouts her lips in though as I swollow the rest of liquid. She looks to be in deep thought, dwelling on whatever is on her mind or the tip of her tongue. I could only guess it had to do with her.... late husband. May his soul rest in peace.

Placing the cup down on a conveniently placed crate, I follow up that action by placing my hands on the meif'wa's shoulders. I give her the best reassuring smile I can muster trying to get my message across. I'm here for her. And for the kids. Where ever they are..

I give the lady in pink's shoulders a small squeeze followed by a rub before I let go. I glanced around for the munchkins dropping my attempt at a good smile.

"Actually" kawaii~chan voice barely above a whisper. I glance back at her, to make sure she knew I was listening. "Katelyn~Sama is the life saving" her voice was still extremely quite but I could hear the mixed emotions in her voice beyond clearly.

I was a bit shocked, out of everything that could of been said she said that. Now thinking about it, I don't know what I expected, there really wasn't much of a conversation to go off.

Her amber eyes gloss over with with tears. Memories obviously flooding her mind.

I shake my head to clear my thoughts. One deep breath later I have engulfed the teary eyed mother into a katelyn bear hug. I gently pet her hair as she sobs into my shirt. I hold her as tight as I can.

"I'm here for you, kawaii~chan"

We stayed like that til her sobs faded to gentle hiccups, til the tears stop falling, til her cheeks where dry and til her heart hurt a little bit less.

Then I couldn't help but wonder

Hiya! I've finished updating this story! Omi so kool! Haha. I'm currently sitting outside, and I tell you! It's winter here.. so I'm so cold!! But there is a fire so it's not to bad. But yeah! I'm sitting around writing.. hopefully multiply things. Anyway, I'll head of now. Ninjacats out!
