The girl became nothing as time and space bended. Her surroundings dissolved, too. Suddenly, the world rushed back and the girl landed, somewhat wobbly, on her feet.
It had only begun.

Was it risky? Yes. Was it stupid? Absolutely. Was it the most dangerous thing Skylar had ever done in her life? Sadly, no.
Skylar knew that as she faced the bodiless mass in front of her. She totally knew that.
"Just say the word, stupid girl, and you can go home peacefully."
Skylar was no fighter. But she wasn't one to lay down and let someone intimidate her. Especially someone who had called her stupid. She tossed her hair defiantly and stood her ground.
"Then you leave me no choice."
Something—nothing— flew out and grabbed her wrist. But before she could register what was going on, she was flying...backwards...
Maybe she really was stupid.
