If there was one thing Tina Alvarez known for, it was that she always remembered her friends' birthdays. She knew that Nicky's was on the 6th of October. She knew that that Amy's was the 16th of May. She knew that Summers was the 28th of February.
However, she most of all she knew her best friend Mike Lee's which was October 12th. Unfortunately for Tina, Mike didn't have the same memory.
It all started with a text from Nicky.
Nicky- Hey Man. What did you get Tina for tomorrow?
Mike- You mean for christmas? I gave her something already.
Nicky- Dude tomorrow's Christmas Eve!!!
Mike- Yeah and?????
Nicky- Tomorrow is Tee's Birthday!!!!!!
Mike- Son of b***!! are you kidding. I have to go. Omg she's gonna kill me!! crap!
Nicky- Good Luck Nimrod!! Remember I always get her the best presents.
Mike- You're rich. Last year you gave her a 200$ giant bear
Nicky- Not my fault I actually care about my fiends
Mike hung up. " What am i gonna do" So he didn't what any best friend would do if they forget their best friends birthday. He called her other best friend.
Amy come over as soon as she could. " What is the matter with you?"
" What can I do?"
" Well she's always wanted a meaningful gift from Cole Taylor." Amy replied, slumping on Mike's desk chair.
" Cole Taylor!!!! That popular guy with the famous sister and brother? The one who stood her up at winter formal?"
" Well they're still friends...."
" What if I just forge a note in his handwriting?" Mike said. " Would that work?"
" Maybe. Wait!!! I have his test paper from when we did peer marking today."
" Is this us going to far?" Mike asked.
" Nope!" Any replied. " This is YOU going to far. I remembered her birthday and got her a
dancing chihuahua."
" Isn't that a little offensive?" Mike asked.
" Isn't it a little offensive to forget someone's birthday when you've known them for years?"
" Good point!"
It was the day the whole group would gather at Shakeys and show Tina what they got her.
" Well I got you a note from Cole Taylor who also brought a box of chocolates." Mike said smiling.
" Really?" Tina said smiling suspiciously. " Cole went out of town a month ago for the holidays and he arendy gave me a present. "
" Ummmmm." Mike said.
" You forgot again?" Tina asked. " Didn't you?"
" Wait you've forgotten her birthday before?" Josh asked.
" Well my turn!" Nicky said. " For your birthday i got you a first edition copy of peter pan!! You're favorite."
" Omg I love you so much!!" Tina said Jumping.
" Never compete with the boy from beverly hills.." Mike mumbled
