Chapter 23

        11:59 pm. We were all leaving the bowling alley, tired and worn out. Gracie was asleep in my arms, clinging to me as if I was her lifeline. Dylan helped me buckle her in, the others whispering goodbye to her and giving us hugs.

"Bye Tyler." I said to Posey, hugging him tightly. He kissed my forehead and we let go.

"Bye Sky." He said and walked with Seana to his car. I got in, watching Dylan start the car.

         I yawned quietly, leaning my head against the window. 12 am. Dylan held my hand, intertwining our fingers like always.

"I-I love you." I managed to stutter out. A big grin spread across his face, as he chuckled a bit. "I love you too." He said. My heart warmed up and I felt giddy.

"It's been a long two days hasn't it?" I ask looking at him. He glances at me nodding his head and turning the turn signal on.

"Yeah, acting is a hard job." He says, squeezing my hand making me giggle. I turn around and see Gracie holding the small monkey animal Posey and Tyler won her at the 'Fun House' claw machine. Her head leaning against her shoulder and her mouth opened ajar. I turn back around smiling, today was a good day.

"She really does look like us doesn't she?" Dylan asks looking at me.

"Yeah, I'm really surprised she does. Jeffah did a really good job." I answer his question. He flashes a goofy smile and winks at me, making me giggle.

"Your crazy." I say. "Yeah, in love with you." He admits, making me blush. "That's right, I said it. I'm in love with you." Dylan adds making me blush even more.

"But I'm crazy enough to love you back." I state, which makes him grin.

         He pulls into my driveway, parking the car. I let go of his hand and open the door, getting out and closing it. I open Gracie's door, unbuckling her and picking her up. Dylan takes out the car seat, we both close the doors. I walk up to the deck, grabbing my keys. I unlock the door letting us inside.

"I'll take her." Dylan says. "Really, I mean-"

"Yeah, let me take her to bed. you put away the car seat." He says holding out his arms. I shrug it off handing her over and taking the car seat.

        I put it in the closet as he walks into her room. I turn on the light for him and go into the kitchen. He soon follows me, smiling. "Thank you." I say. He walks over to me.

"Your welcome." he says before kissing me lightly. He walks away, and out the door. I bite my lip before rushing after him. "D-Dylan?" I ask. He spins around raising an eyebrow.

"Do you....um...do you want to spend the night.....I mean uh it's late and were both tired and umm, if you fall asleep while driving." I stutter out biting my lip. He begins to chuckle smirking.

"Yeah. I'll spend the night." He says walking back towards me. I walk back in the house mentally face palming myself. 12:34 am.

"Thanks for caring." says Dylan smirking. I roll my eyes giggling.

"Shut up. You love me." I explain. He just nods his head kissing me lightly. I kiss back wrapping my arms around his neck, his hands snake around my waist. He begins to tickle me, resulting in me pulling away and squirming in his grip.

"Stop! that tickles!" I quietly squeal. I get away and spin around to face him.

"You crazy!" I exclaim throwing my hands in the air chuckling. He just smiles opening his arms and picking me up. I begin to laugh as he throws me over his shoulder, closing Gracie's door.

"Come on, loudy." He smirks walking in my room. I'm thrown on the bed, making me laugh.

"I'm not loud, you just tickled me which made me loud." I say as he climbs I the bed.

"Right." He replies wrapping an arm around me.

"I hope to spend the rest of my life with you." I accidentally say. He chuckles looking at me.

"Of course you do, how can you resist?" He says laughing. I roll my eyes playfully hitting him.

"No I'm serious." I say.

"So am I. I want to also." He admits.

"Do you want to be a dad?" I ask carefully.

"Yes, I also want to be Gracie's dad if you'll let me." He explains looking at me.

"Of course I will." I said with a smile growing on my face.

"I also want you to be my wonderful wife," he smiles at me, "Will you do me the honors of becoming Mrs.O'Brien?" He asks quietly with a hopeful look in his eyes.
