He woke up with sweat all over his head and body. He turned off the alarm and sat down in his bed. It was that dream again, he said to himself. It was the same dream for almost 2 weeks. He keeps on dreaming about a certain girl and with that, the same questions always pop up. Who is she? Why do I keep dreaming about her?
R.D Burns also known as Raphael Donatello Burns, the only child of Mr. & Mrs. Timothy and Audrey Burns, the owner of Burns Wine Imports, one of the top wine companies in Italy particularly in Verona. Verona, Italy which reminds me of the tragic love story of Romeo & Juliet. But I am not here to re-enact the tale of the tragic love story.
Our tale started at school, where almost every girl adored and loved RD, because who wouldn't? Raphael is the boy that any girl would ask for. He's smart, adorably cute, a guitarist, and very rich. You may think that he has it all, but you got it all twisted.
As soon as he stepped on the school grounds, "Here comes RD!!!" A girl squealed capturing every girls attention. Afterwards, he was again surrounded by girls or should I say his fans. Does this have to happen every day? Raphael thought. But at that moment, "Ok ladies, we don't want getting late and get detention so please give my friend some space. Grazie." Leo said 'rescuing' his best friend from the crowd.
Leo and Raphael soon got to their class where their other friend, Angelo is waiting. "Wow, 15 minutes early than the usual time. That's quite a surprise." Angelo said while checking his watch. "Stop teasing Angelo." RD and Leo said at the same time. "So what have you been doing this weekend?" RD asked his friends. "The usual, helping my parents' business. Padre wants me to know more about it since I am their 'only' successor." Angelo said with a bit of sarcasm. "I just went sightseeing again." Leo said. "You mean just looking up pictures at the internet?" RD and Angelo said at the same time with their teasing eyebrows. They starred for a few seconds then they laughed all together. Then the bell rang and they fixed themselves in their classroom.
Their adviser came but everyone's attention was at the girl who is right beside their adviser. "Class, this is your new classmate Sheyn." Their teacher said to the class. Murmurs were coming everywhere especially from the girls. "Please introduce yourself Sheyn." The teacher said to Sheyn. "Ciao. I'm Sheyn Julia Montgomery. I just transferred from Rome with my family." Sheyn introduced herself with a blank expression to her face. "Grazie Sheyn, please take the seat beside Angelo. Angelo please raise your hand." Angelo raised his hand while Sheyn is walking towards her assigned seat. As soon as she sat down, "Ciao, I'm Angelo. If you have any troubles finding your way around the campus, I can help you." Angelo said with enthusiasm. Sheyn just gave a simple smile to him.
The class has begun yet; some boys can't help but stare at Angelo and Sheyn because Sheyn does not even smile for once. And surprisingly Raphael also can't help but stare at his friend and the new girl sitting together. She looks awfully familiar. RD thought to himself.
After their first period, "So Sheyn, what's your nickname? Not to make you feel uncomfortable it's just tha---" Sheyn cut him off by saying, "You can call me S.J that's short for Sheyn Julia." Sheyn said to Angelo with a blank expression. "Oh okay then. Can I ask you something? Why do you always have a blank expression? Are you mad or something?" Angelo said. SJ just chuckled at him.
Their next period is history, and some students find their teacher quite scary. "Ugh it's History Class with Sir Andres. He's fine and all but he can be quite scary." Angelo advised SJ. SJ got confused and asked, "Why do you say so?" Angelo replied, "You'll find out." Just then, Sir Andres came in. "Buongiorno. One seat apart, pop quiz." All the students were groaning but then, "Sir we have a new classmate, maybe we should excuse her from the quiz?" RD said that captured everyone's attention. "I'm sorry but, no exceptions!" All of the students were shocked and scared at their teacher. "But si---" RD was cut off by, "I can manage Mr. Burns." SJ said but this time there was a smile that is plastered in her face. All of the students especially the boys were shocked to see SJ's first smile.
