Jaeden
"We have to pretend to date."

My eyes widened and I jumped up, "No! No Wyatt, I'm not doing that!"

"Oh come on Jae, don't act like you don't actually want this." He says, smirking.

"I don't! You're the last person I would ever want! I hate you." I said, scoffing at his remark.

I could never like Wyatt Oleff. Never. "Yeah ok...but anyway, please! I just need to do this for Chosen. It won't last long, I swear. We can just suddenly break up and go back to hating each other." He said, pleading for me to agree.

"How is this gonna work anyway, we can't get along and you're not even gay." I asked.

"I can just say that I'm bisexual and we can pretend to get along. Plus, we live together now so that helps to convince him even more."

"Ugh," I groaned out of frustration. "I'll do it but since I know how couples work, obviously, there will be nothing more than kissing or making out!"

"Ok, good enough for me. Not like I would ever want anything more than that with you. I hate the fact that I will even have to kiss you but I have to do this, I guess." He said with a disgusted look on his face.

"Shut up." I said and then walked out of the room.

I woke up the next morning, today is the first day where I will have to pretend to date Wyatt and do things with him at school that I would very much rather not do at all.

I got up and got dressed, walking over to the bathroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair. I didn't bother to shower because...eh? When I walked downstairs I was met with Wyatt waiting at the front door.

"What are you waiting for?" I asked. "You." He replied. "Why..."

"Because, if we're gonna be doing this then we need to be really convincible, so that included me walking you to school. When we arrived, Wyatt laced his hand with mine. I was shocked at first but squeezed his hand.

We walked up to Chosen, hand in hand. "Hey Chosen." Wyatt said, smiling and still holding onto my hand. "Oh, hey.." He glanced down at our hands. "What's this?" He asked.

"This is boyfriend, Jaeden." I cringed at his statement but squeezed his hand and sent Chosen a smile.

"Prove it." He said

"W-what?" Wyatt asked with a stutter, probably due to the fact that he couldn't convince Chosen with just that.

"Kiss him, on the lips. A real kiss." He replied.

"Um..okay." Wyatt said, turning to me while letting go of my hand. He leaned in and when our faces were inches apart his hands snaked around my waist, I wrapped mine around his neck as our lips brushed against each other's.

The kiss lasted about 10 seconds, it wasn't heated. It was full of passion but not love. Of course it wasn't full of love, I don't love Wyatt Oleff and he doesn't love me.

Wyatt pulled away and looked at me with an expression that said wow. That only lasted for a second when it turned into disgust. He turned back to Chosen and laced his hand with mine again.

"Believe me now?"

I'm yODELING I have a lot planned for this book and it's slowly coming together so yayyy
