I walk into school pretending that I'm invisible. Few people know about me and that's fine. The fewer people that know me the fewer people know about my parents. Also finding out about the beatings that they give. I won't be stolen away. this is the only way I can stay with my best friend and it's what I'm good at so I stick with it. As I walk into my class one of the popular girls pushed me to the ground. She laughed in my face and walked into the class room. One day I will be able to show her I'm am not somebody she can push around but first I have to stop getting beaten up. I walk into my first-class English with Skye. I walk and sit down in the back not wanting anyone to see me. I also don't want them to see any bruises or cuts that I may not have been able to cover. Skye comes and sits next to me as we wait for the teacher to arrive. 'Come on you have to go and tell the police or social services you can't go on living like this. Not only is it not healthy but it's not safe and it wrong to let someone grow up like this' Skye pleaded. 'No Skye I can't if I do they get put in jail. I have to move. I can't leave you. I know you so please can you leave it please Skye'. Skye then turned back to the teacher. 'I want you to have a better life than what you have now. You deserve it" Skye murmured under her breath so I could only somewhat hear. After English. I went back to my locker to put away my books. Before I manage to get there. Brittany the school slut. walks over to me and knocks not only my books to the floor, but me also. 'watch where you're going trash bag' she said. Cackling as she walked to the lunch room. I rapidly picked up my books before anyone could kick them away. and shoving them into my locker then rushed into the lunch room before all the good food was seized.
