The unknown village (Aarmau AU)

Chapter Seven

Aaron POV:
Today princess Aphmau wants to visit the werewolf village, it's not far away, but I have to go with her "Why do you want to go there?" she says "You know how vampires and werewolves do not get along? I want to repair that." I say "No one tried to do that." she says "So? I guess I will be the first. One thing. Be careful with your power, I don't want them to get jealous." I say "Hahaha..." I roll my eyes "Don't get mad honey~" I say "Let's just get going please." we get on our horses and leave to the village.

*few minutes later*
"We're here!" I see the gates "Um, they look scratched." she says "Decoration" I look confused "Alright" she yells "We are here werewolves!" I hear growls "I think you made them mad..." I see two werewolves "The princess is here and she came with a guy! Open the gates!" the gates open "We will bring you 2 to the king." they drag us "Be a bit gentle. I'm a lady after all." one says "Sorry..."

*5 minutes later*
"My lord, we brought the vampire, the princess." I hear a voice "Let them in." we enter "Princess Aphmau, how nice to see you!" she bows "King Balto" the name sounds familiar "Oh, who is this gentleman? You got a boyfriend?" she says "Yes I did~!" she hugs me "Wait a minute" he sniffs me "A human bitten by you I see." he sniffs more and gasps "Is that you? Aaron Lycan?" how does he know me "My old friend!" my eyes widen "Wait, Balto?" he smiles "Yes!" I smile, then we brotherly hug "I didn't know you are friends." he says "Aaron was my first friend. How is Melissa?" I say "She's good" he smiles more "How are your parents??" I keep quiet "They are dead..." his smile disappears "Oh... I didn't know... how did this happen?" I say "Father got killed and mother got sick." his ears go down "Oh dear..." he looks at Aphmau "I already knew. My parents are dead too." he sighs "That's not really fair. They didn't deserve it." he continues "How about I offer you a free lunch? I'll talk with Aphmau first, then we can catch up." I nod "Guards! Bring Aaron to the kitchen!" they take me to the kitchen "I need to control it. I need to control my anger... I want my friends to be safe, especially Aphmau."

Aphmau POV:
We went to the meeting room, Balto is mad, I know when he says a lie or say the truth or when he pretends. People are scared of werewolves, so he has to lie to protect himself and his village. I get closer to him "What's wrong...?" he says "I'm mad because no one told me about the death of Derek and Rachel." I say "Maybe no one cared." he says "I care! If it wasn't them... me and Aaron wouldn't be friends now. I don't want to imagine the pain he went through... especially Melissa. I know women are more sensible." he looks at me "Why... didn't you tell me about your parents? Don't you trust me?" I say "Of course I do! You are so busy as a king... I didn't want to put more weight on you..." he says "You're more important than any business!! I always choose my friends and people over some business!" he is scary sometimes, but he has a heart "I am sorry, I didn't mean to yell. Being a king is not easy. I never wanted to be." he puts his hands on his head "Being a king is a big responsability. I am not a free wolf as I was before. I would give anything to have my parents back and be a prince again..." tears fell from my eyes... poor Balto "You came to resolve the problem...?" I nod "That makes me very happy. We'll sign a paper and the problems between our kinds will be... finally over." he takes out a paper and pen "Sign here" I sign where he points and he signs after me "Are you hungry for some steak?" I say "If it's chicken." he chuckles "Balto" I wipe his tears "It will be ok." he sniffs "I know. Shall we go my lady?" I say "We shall" we walk to the kitchen, we find Aaron at table.

Aaron POV:
"Hey you 2! Balto, are you alright?" he says "I'm fine" he comes to sniff me "Is this your way to ask for pets?" he says "You know me so well." I pet his head, his tail is wagging "Haha! I forgot that he likes pets!" Aphmau pets his ears. I laugh when he barks happily "You 2!" we get scared and stop "Do not petting my husband like that!" Aph says "Hey Maria" she says "You pet him like this. Come here Balto~" she kisses him and plays with his hair "Honey, we have a new visitor." he continues "This is my old friend, Aaron." I say "Nice to meet you." she sniffs "Aaron Lycan, a bitten human." I look at Aph "We are dating" Maria has yellow eyes, her hair is half brown, half blonde, she also has a tan skin "Aww, how cute!! Don't you have a sister?" I say "Older sister" Aph says "They live in my village." Balto says "I thought you never wanted to move." I say "Things change" Maria says "Balto, I have some news, but I guess they can know too." we look at her "In only five months, something is going to happen that will change our lives." we think. I don't know what she means at first "I don't get what- wait a minute..." I gulp "Maria, you said 5 months??" she nods "What's wrong Aaron?" I say "Um, she is pregnant." Balto's eyes widen "What did you say?" I say "You heard me. The pregnancy at werewolves is 6 months. Her belly is a bit showing, meaning it will be more than one kid." Balto asks "Maria... how many?" she shows with her fingers, 4 kids "Oh..." he faints "Oh my Irene!" Aphmau is laughing while she helps him "That is a surprise." she says "Do you think he is mad?" I say "I know how Balto reacts at these news." Aph says "She is just shocked." Balto is waking up, then she takes Maria in air "WE WILL BE PARENTS!!" we laugh "I am so happy!" he howls "I forgot... you howl..." Maria asks "Aph, do you want kids??" she thinks for a moment, then she grins at me "Why did you ask her? We just got together." they chuckle "A human, now a vampire." I hiss "Wow" he raises his arms to defend himself "I just want food for now." he says "Oh... right! Chef!! Cook the best chicken for us!!" the chef nods and starts cooking.
