It's the color you feel when you want to scream
When frustration won't give.
It's the color you see when there's someone you want to beam.
Or when there's something you just can't forgive.

But it's also the color you feel when you see that special person
When your heart beats like a drum
When your tongue goes limp and no matter what you do, it'll only worsen.
And you get so nervous, you can't help but act dumb.

It's the strength you feel that tells you that you can take on anything
When you smile into the blazing Hellfire.
Or the glint in your eyes that makes the Devil question who's king.
And the adrenaline that comes with walking on a thin wire.

But it's not just a feeling.
It's the sound of classic heels clacking on the hard ground
Or the sound of you drive so fast, they squeal
And when you run so fast you can only hear your heart pound.

It's also how you know look in that new twirly dress.
It's the color of her face when she laughs so hard she cries
Or the look he gives you that makes you hug your own chest
And the smile you give yourself when you see the color of your own eyes
