Sunrise

The sun hadn't made it passed the mountains and the sky was pink and orange,

The grass that ended at the fence was weighed down and glistening with dew.

If one would stand there, they could see how bright the sun would shine as it made its way up.

The beautiful morning sight felt peaceful, no joy or excitement. Just peace.

The cobblestone path from the door to the gate was darkened by last night's rain.

And with said rain, the strong, tall trees were soggy and almost equated to driftwood.
