Hunter’s POV. (The Alpha of the FireRidge Pack, the biggest pack in the world)
I was running in the forest dodging trees, and jumping over logs. I was racing to y favorite place, it was a small clearing with a stream in it. I got closer and a sent hit my nose. Who ever it was smelt human but something else was there I couldn’t quite put my finger on. So I shrugged it off. I continued to walk to the clearing, the scent got stronger and my wolf started getting excited. The clearing came into view. Right next to the stream was a girl, passed out and laying on her stomach, there was a bag right next to her. Mate! Mate! Mate! My wolf, Hawk shouted in my head. There was no doubt about it, she was my mate, she smelled like fresh roses and vanilla, it was intoxicating. I walked up to her to get a closer look. She looked a bit thin. I picked her up. There wasn’t much else I could do seeing as she was passed out. She automatically curled into me. I smiled, my wolf was happy. I ran back to my house and kicked open the door. I ran up to my room and laid her on the bed. I put on some clothes because when I shifted back I was naked. I walked into the kitchen and saw a note on the table.
Hunter, we are going to be away for the week. Love you!

I heard a scream.
Tori’s POV
I woke up in a comfy bed with pillows and blankets and everything. Aww how I miss this. Then I sat up, I’m not supposed to be here, Where are we, I don’t know but it’s safe, maybe don’t tell whoever it is you’re a wolf though, just to keep you safe, keep your scent masked. My wolf Thea replied, good idea. I screamed. Then I heard someone come up the stairs, and they approached my door. It opened to reveal a very handsome man. Mate! Mate! Mate! Thea screamed! What I have two of them! I screamed back. He is our true mate, I don’t know what that means but he is better than Jay. She replied and then walked to the back of my mind. “Who are you, where am I, how did I get here?” I asked like a machine gun. “My name is hunter and I am the Alpha of the FireRidge pack, you are on my territory, you are in my house. What is your name?” “Victoria Thea, but call me Tori, Alpha? Territory? Whats that?” I asked. “You don’t know do you, I am a werewolf, I’m the leader.” “Ha ha, werewolves don’t exist,” “You’re not going to believe me are you? I guess I’ll have to show you.” “What do you me-.” His bones start cracking and in a blink he was on all fours, he was pitch black and had yellow eyes. My eyes widened. He was big, like 6’2, which was bigger than all the Alphas. He walked up to me and I scooted back, He looked down for a short while and I stretched my arm out and I felt his furry head. Sparks erupted on my hand, Yup he’s our mate, I thought. His fur was soft and warm. His bones started cracking agin and he was Hunter again. “So... tell me about your world.”
1 Hour Later
“So I’m basically your soul mate.” “Yup, you should be feeling sparks even though you are human.” He replied. Well thats a lot to take in. “You want to meet my pack?” He asked, “Yeah sure, whats the worst that could happen.”
After meeting pack (I was too lazy to write this part sorry)
I want to go for a run Tori! Thea complained like a five year old. “I am going to go for a run Hunter, I really need one, I feel all antsy.” I said. “No, I won’t let you, you can’t go into the forest alone its not safe.” “Aww you’re so cute, being protective but it wasn’t a question, I am going running alone so I can think things over.” I said whilst walking out. I walked for about ten minutes before I was deep enough that they wouldn’t know I was shifting. My bones cracked and then I was my 8’7 wolf. I ran for hours until I came to a rock that was overlooking the forest (A/N: Like the one in the Lion King) I settled down on the rock and took in the view of the forest.
I heard paws and sticks breaking. I got up and turned around. Our scent is still masked right? I asked Thea, Yeah it is don’t worry. I looked at the wolf, it was a brown wolf maybe about 5’6 like normal wolves that aren’t alphas. The wolf looked at me, it was the beta of a pack from the small amount of power radiating off of him, it wasn’t like the power radiating off of Hunter but there was still some there. He looked at me, I scratched my paw on the rock signaling it as my territory. He growled at me and to a step forward. For some reason I didn’t like the disrespect he was showing me. I roared, with all of the power that I had in me. I looked back at him He was on the floor his eyes were closed. Oh great he collapsed. I walked over to a bush and shifted back and put my clothes back on and made it smell like I was human again I had to wait an hour to avoid suspicion.
1 Hour later
I walked over to him and shook him awake. “Caden, why are you passed out on the forest floor?” I asked him. “Tori, run its not safe here, there is a huge wolf nearby.” What are you talking about I just got here and there was nothing here you had been out for at least an hour.” I tell him. “Ok...thats weird, what were you doing out here anyway?” “I went out for a run, feeling kind of antsy.” I reply. “Ok...” He sounds like he doesn’t believe me but I can’t do anything about that. “Come on lets get back to the Hunter’s house.”
Unlike the rest of the pack, Hunter, the Alpha, and Caden, the Beta both live in the same house and that includes me now I guess.
Hunter’s POV
I heard the door open to my office, Caden walked in. “Just go back from a run in the woods when I saw this huge white wolf, 8’7, a male most likely, but how can there be a wolf bigger than an alpha?” I just nodded at him to continue. “And then he just pawed at the rock like he was claiming it and I didn’t like this so I growled and something changed in his eyes and he looked angry. He just roared at me, showing all of his teeth and not to sound weak, but there was so much power in his voice, I was scared, so scared that I passed out, when I woke Tori was there, she was confused why she found me on the floor passed out. Why was she out there anyway? Aren’t alphas like really protective or something?” He asked. “Well for one, we are protective but she didn’t ask, she told me and when I told her no she said she wasn’t asking and she was just telling me. And second, she was out in the woods running.” I said back. “Just tell the pack to keep a look out for this wolf, we should try to figure out who it is though.” He said and then left.
I got up from my chair and walked to mine and Tori’s room, I just walked in to find her in her bra and underwear in the closet. My pants grew tight and my wolf was trying to take over. She must have heard me and she turned around. I saw bruises on her stomach and back, she looks at me, her eyes widen and she shuts the door quickly. My wolf quickly got angry and I need to punch something, I turned to the wall and punched it, now there was a hole in the wall. She walked out of the closet in a tank top and some shorts. “Where are those bruises from?” I demanded in my Alpha tone not even a human can’t resist them. “I never told you about where I came from, my old p-... family hated me, they made me do all of the dirty work, they beat me and abused me even when I did nothing wrong, then I left I couldn’t take it anymore and then I ended up here.” She finished. By know my wolf had taken over and my eyes were probably pitch back. Hawk was furious. I was just a few seconds away from shifting. Then she did the unthinkable she kissed me with passion. My wolf forgot all anger and just focused on her lips on mine. When she pulled away I was sad. “What was that for?” I asked confused. “You looked like you were gonna turn into a wolf so I did the only think I thought would calm you down.” She said. “Well it worked but that isn’t what I was coming here to talk about. Caden saw a big wolf in the forest so I am asking, no begging you not to go in there without me or Caden because from what he described, it was vicious. So please be careful from now on.” “Ok I will, just be careful to. Know lets go to bed I’m tired.” I walked over to my side of the bed and got under the covers, I felt the bed dip and Hunter crawl in next to me. His bare chest pressed up against my back and his arm wrapped around my waist, “Best way to clam me down ever.” He said just before I slipped into sleep.
