Tori’s POV
I woke up at three in the morning to Thea screaming in my head. ‘THEA BE QUEIT!!!’ I shouted. ‘I’m sorry I just really need to go for a run.’ She replied. I sighed, I gently lifted Hunter’s arm off of my stomach and stretched my legs and arms. I slowly and quietly opened the window and slipped out, I jumped out and landed on my feet and took off running into the forest. I was running for a good fifteen minutes until I collapsed in pain. ‘Thea whats happening?’ ‘Its our 18th birthday, we are getting our powers.’ ‘What pow-’ I was cut off by my bones cracking, and immense pain washing over me. Suddenly it stopped. I felt strong and powerful like never before. I walked around until I found a puddle. I looked down and was amazed. I looked exactly the same but know I was like 9’5 and was on fire. The fire was around me like a bubble and was all over me but it didn’t hurt me. I was feeling tired so I shifted back, to my amazement I still had my clothes on. I suddenly became dizzy and I passed out.

I opened my eyes and I was in a meadow. with a stream and there were wild flowers every where. I sat up and looked around. It was peaceful here and everything inside me told me not to be afraid or cautious. I looked up and saw a woman and a man standing before me. I looked at them both and they looked at me with love. Then it dawned on my, this was the Moon Goddess and the Sun King. I immediately bowed my head in respect. “Please child don’t bow to us” The Moon Goddess said. I looked up at them in aw. “Before you say anything child I have to tell you something, you are my and my mates child,’ she said pointing to her and the sun king ‘when you were young, people learned of your existence and wanted to kill you or take you for their own gain. So we placed you in your mothers whom and told her of you. She promised me she would take care of you. I am so sorry my child but there is something you should know. You have the mark of fire. You can control it, but you do need training so every night I will send you Rose, she is a spirit and has been trained to help you control it. She isn’t like you though, she can’t control it but her family is known for training even the most hardest of students so I have no doubt that she will help you master you element before you turn 19. Me and your father must go now my child.’ ‘See you later munchkin,’ the Su- I mean my father said. ‘Good-bye mom and dad, I hope to see you soon.’ I said.

I was being shaken awake. And might I add violently. I opened my eyes and glared at the person shaking me. I came face to face with Hunter. Worry was clear in his eyes. “Hunter whats wrong?” I asked confused. “Whats wrong?! You were unconscious for like two days!” TWO DAYS! I WAS OUT FOR TWO DAYS! “How did I get here?” I ask. ‘I was running in the wood because when I woke up you weren’t in bed so I went looking for you and found you unconscious in the middle of the forest!” He was shouting now. “First of all stop shouting.” I said in a calm tone. “How did you even get there?” He asked. “Well, I-” I was cut off by him holding up his hand. “Rouges coming for the pack house and fast. Apparently there is a lot of them. Stay here and out of the fight.” He said and raced out of the room.
‘Our mate is risking his life, I think we can trust him, please let us help him!’ She pleaded. ‘Lets see how many fighters there are and how many rouges there are.’ I said. I looked out of the window and saw a lot of rouges running toward our pack, the amount of rouges numbered about two rouges to one pack member. Panic was rising in me and I raced down the stairs. I was over come by pain on my leg, ‘Thea whats wrong?’ ‘Thats our mates pain you’re feeling.’ That crossed the line, I was beyond angry. I rushed out the doors and every one looked at me for a brief moment.
I found Hunter looking at me. The rouges he was fighting noticed and started biting and scratching him he yelped in pain. That was the last straw, I started running toward him and jumped towards the rouge. In the air I shifted into my 9’5 wolf that was on fire. I landed on the rouge and sunk my teeth into his neck snapping it and killing him instantly. I got off him and looked around, the rouges were looking at me. Most of them had died and none of my pack members had yet. I let out a ferocious roar with only some power in it. All of the rouges submitted to me and most of my pack members did to. “Who wishes to join this pack? If you wish to shift back, the rest of you will be killed.” I shouted using only a smudge of my power. All of the rouges shifted back and laid on the ground and showed me their necks. I smiled in victory. “Some one get all of them clothes.” I yelled. A few pack members rushed into the pack house and returned with shirts and shorts. All of the rouges were males except for one, she had a few scars on her body. I walked over to her and offered her my hand. She took it and I led her back to my house. As I walked off the battle field and walked past a very surprised Hunter. He had his mouth open and his eyes were as wide as saucers. I’ll have to talk to him later I thought to myself. I go to my house and looked at the female. “You will live with me know. Whats your name?” I said, she looked at me confused. “My name is Kali, Why?” She asked. “Just something about you makes me sense something.” I said. She nodded. I heard the door open and Hunter came in followed by Cole. He looked at me. “MINE!” He shouted and ran to me, picked up Kali and sprinted to his room. I caught a glimpse of Kali’s face and she looked over joyed.
“I knew I had a good feeling about her.” I said and walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple. I was HUN-GRY. “Care to explain a little?” Hunter asked, looking me in the eyes, frankly he still looked surprised. “Well when you found me in the forest, I was going out for a run, when you found me passed out I was having a dream. In the dream I was told my mom and dad are actually the Moon Goddess and the Sun King. That was a lot to take in.” I proceeded to tell him about my old pack, running away and every thing after that.
“So when I told you about werewolves the reason you didn’t freak out is because you are one?” He asked. “Yes.” I replied. “Oh and I do need to be trained to fight, at my old pack didn’t train me basically at all.” I said, “So why didn’t you tell me you were a werewolf. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not mad or angry at you, frankly I’m so happy.” He asked. “Well I had trust issues from my old pack so I wasn’t so keen on telling someone I didn’t know about my problem because I shifted for the first time on your territory. Ok, I’m getting tired now, can we go to bed. Can we go to bed now?” I asked. “Ok Tor-Tor, but you are explaining everything to me tomorrow.” “Don’t you ever call me that name again, or I will have to hurt you, mate or not.” I said playfully. “You don’t mean that do you?” He asked kind of scared. “You’ll never know.” I said smirking and laying down on the bed. “Hey Hunter,” “Yeah?” “Mark me now!” I said. He didn’t need to be told twice he rolled on top of me and sunk his teeth into my neck. An immense wave of pleasure washed over me and I moaned. He retracted his canines and licked his mark. That was the night we completed the mating process and it was amazing.
