1 Year later
Everything had been amazing the last year. I had learned to control my fire powers. And how to turn the fire off of my wolf. But my natural state was on fire. It was pretty hard for me to turn off the fire when in my wolf form though. But Rose had taught me everything I needed to know. I had explained everything to Hunter and he was with me every step of the way. I also found out that when I get really angry, the red part of my hair bursts into fire. My wolf also stayed the same size and color. Me and Hunter were happy. As were Kali and Caden. We all lived in a huge house together now. It was great because me and Kali became back friends. I also learned that I could teleport and I could move faster than a vampire with ease which came in handy when I was fighting because it didn’t take any energy from me and I didn’t have to think to hard about it. I was walking around the house when Hunter called me to our office. I was know the Luna of the FireRidge Pack and everything was great. Not to mention, I wasn’t 5’4 anymore I was now 6’, but still not as tall as Hunter who was about 6’4.
“Hunter you called?” I asked walking into the office. He was at his desk looking at some papers. He looked up. “Umm yeah, an Alpha from a neighboring pack called and asked for assistance, they have been having rouge attacks frequently. So they are joining packs with us. for a while, until they learn better fighting techniques or they will stay forever.” He said. “Which pack is it Hunter?” I asked, “Well you see...um..um...the pack is...um...” “Spit it out!” I said, “Itsyouroldpack!” He said in one breath, “Ok, thats fine.” I said. “Thats it? No tantrum or hitting Hunter or yelling at Hunter or breaking a wall, nothing.” He said in disbelief. “No, there will be no hitting Hunter or yelling at Hunter. And I only broke a wall once, stop teasing me about it, and I know you did it for a good reason. They need help and you are not a heartless Alpha and I am not a heartless Luna who keeps grudges. So yeah.” I finished. He just stared at me. “I love you so much Tori, you are the best mate ever.” He said and kissed me with a lot of passion. He pushed up against the wall. Needless to say, I didn’t come out of his office until dinner time.
The Next Day
Today was the day my old pack was moving to our land for a while and I wan’t excited but I wasn’t not happy either. I would get to see Vivian again and Cole, I missed Cole so much. He was always so sweet to me and cared for me. By know he was probably beta and Blake was probably Alpha know. I was watching T.V. with Hunter, Kali and Caden at the pack house. The door bell rang and we all jumped out of our seats and walked to the door. Hunter opened it to reveal Blake, Cole and Vivian and the rest of the pack standing behind them.
“Hello Alpha?” Hunter said. “Blake, Alpha Blake.” I felt Hunter tense and I could imagine his eyes going dark. “YOU!” He roared. He was about to jump on Blake when I grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back so he stumbled a little and was now at my side. “Blaze, calm down, I’m right here I won’t go anywhere.” I said to Hunter wolf, it was obvious he had taken over. “Please give Hunter back control, we don’t want to make a bad first impression. I don’t care what they did to me in the past, I’m over it know.” I whispered. I saw his eyes switch back to his normal colors.
I walked up in front of Hunter, “I’m sorry he isn’t normally like this.” I said. “I’m Luna Tori and this is Alpha Hunter and our Beta Caden and his mate Kali.” I said, shaking Blake’s hand. I felt nothing, no shocks or tingles like with Hunter and I was happy, scratch that I was beyond happy, I was ecstatic, I was afraid that the mate bond between Blake and I didn’t fully break, but it has and I am happy. “I’m sorry, what is your full name? You look so familiar.” Blake said kind of confused. “Oh, come on you must recognize your rejected mate?” I said smirking. “No thats impossible, my mate was weak and couldn’t live by herself alone in the woods.” Hunter grew tense again. ‘I got this babe, don’t worry.’ I said through our mate mind link. He relaxed. “Well apparently you were wrong dear Alpha Blake.” I said, still smirking. His eyes darkened. “MINE!” He shouted. Hunter just sat there and let me handle it. I sensed Blake was going to grab me before he even tried. He lunged for my waist and I just flipped him over my back with my speed and he landed on his face behind me. I looked behind me, Blake was groaning, Caden, Kali and Hunter were on the floor laughing with tears streaming down their faces. I looked back to Vivian, “You gonna give me a hug best friend?” I ask, her face breaks into a big smile and she rushes toward me and engulfs me in a big hug. She lets me go and smiles at me. “I MISSED YOU SO MUCH TORI! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?” She screamed at me. “I’ll explain everything later.” I turned to Cole and opened my arms, he rushed to me and gave me the biggest hug I ever received. “I thought you had died! I missed you so much Tori.” He was saying into my neck. When I felt a pair of arms wrap around me from behind and to their side, I looked up and saw an angry faced Hunter “Mine, my mate.” He said. “Hunter, relax, thats my big bro. He and the girl next to him are-” “Wait why are you two looking at each other lovin-” “OMG YOU GUYS ARE MATES THIS IS PERFECT!” I screamed, jumping around them. Hunter just looked at me waiting for me to stop once I stopped I realized Blake had gotten back up and had an emotionless face of. “You done?” Vivian asked. I nodded. “Can you show us our rooms?” she asked. I nodded and headed up the stairs with Hunter at my side, Caden and Kali right behind us and the rest of the pack following.
