Elle woke up, clutching Shawn's blankets that laid on his bed. She inhaled his scent, smiling softly to herself before getting up.

She walked out of Shawn's room and down to Aaliyah's, knocking softly. When there was no answer, she quietly opened her door. Aaliyah was sleeping quietly, tear-stained cheeks, clutching her brothers hoodie she'd stollen.

Elle walked to the side of Aaliyah's bedside, gently shaking her awake. "Aaliyah, do you wanna see Shawn?" Elle whispered sweetly.

"What? Yes. I miss him so much" Aaliyah started to cry out softly. Elle sat next to Aaliyah, pulling her into her lap, hugging her tight. She rubbed her back, whispering sweet things to soothe her sobs.

"Hey, it'll be okay. Get ready hun. I'll be getting ready as well" Elle said softly, before kissing her forehead and left to get ready.

Elle decided to wear a white, lace-up crop top with black, ripped skinny jeans and black high top sk8 Vans. She curled her long, orange hair. She smiled at herself. She felt good about herself for once.

"Aaliyah are you ready?" Elle asked Aaliyah as she stood in her bedroom doorway.

"Yeah, just tying my boots" she responded with a weak smile.

Elle walked over to Aaliyah, rubbing her hand across her head.

"Do you want me to do one of my infamously famous braids?" Elle smiled as Aaliyah let out a small giggle.

"Yes! Can you do your Dutch fishtail?" Aaliyah smiled brightly.

"Of course. Can you get your hairbrush and two rubber bands?" Elle asked as she sat on the edge of Aaliyah's bed.

Once she was done, they left to go see Shawn.

After arriving, they were notified that Aaliyah could go see Shawn. Typically they don't allow visitors under eighteen, but they happened to pull some strings.

"Elle, please come with me. I don't want to go in there alone" Aaliyah asked quietly. Elle agreed and they both left to see Shawn.
