We walked down the corridors until I heard the music in theatre. We went in and sat in the back row on the bottom floor

Baby you light up my world like nobody else

Blah, Blah, Blah. I needed to get out of here. But how could I? Lily was holding my arm tightly. She was actually worried about me.

That’s what makes you beautiful!

The song ends and Lucy claps loudly. The boys look over at us and Harry winks at me, how disgusting. They do the rest of their songs and all then leave to go into hair and makeup. Me and Lily venture a little backstage. We end up on stage looking out at the arena and it is absolutely massive.

“Look a piano! I learned how to play A team by Ed Sheeran the other day.” She sat down and started playing. I had this urge inside of me to start singing. Me and Harry as kids would always sing together.

White lips, pale face

Breathing in snowflakes

Burnt lungs, sour taste

Light's gone, day's end

Struggling to pay rent

Long nights, strange men

I begin to sing not even knowing what I am doing. Lily looks up and smiles at me.

And they say

She's in the Class A Team

Stuck in her daydream

Been this way since 18

But lately her face seems

Slowly sinking, wasting

Crumbling like pastries

I walk over to the center stage and grab the microphone resting on the stand. I can’t stop myself. I keep singing louder and louder. I turn the microphone on and just sing.

And they scream

The worst things in life come free to us

Cos we're just under the upperhand

Go mad for a couple grams

And she don't want to go outside tonight

And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland

Or sells love to another man

It's too cold outside

For angels to fly

Angels to fly

I have completely lost myself, there I stood on a stage in front of an empty arena that would soon be filled with thousands of people.

Ripped gloves, raincoat

Tried to swim, stay afloat

Dry house, wet clothes

Loose change, bank notes

Weary-eyed, dry throat

Call girl, no phone

I moved around as if it was natural. As if I had been doing this my whole life.
