Toffee
I really don't want to go to school, it doesn't really improve my intelligence. It simply is just a system of time killing for those who have not yet experienced the hardships of adulthood. I've already experienced it, fortunately I was able to be hired as a nurse in training and soon to be hired. I'm hoping to become a therapist though. It's seems more interesting. Making you solve the puzzles of those who can't solve it themselves.
Anyway, back to school. As usual, most of the Mewnians were trying to intimidate me, always insulting me in the most idiotic ways, trying to trip me in the halls. There was always a separation between the students. Humans and monsters are separate. Unless it was sports. Then, they would combine forces to destroy the other teams. If only it could stay that way. "Hey green head!" I turn around, only to be hit my a foot ball. I look up to see a group of humans. One of them with blond hair smirked at me. River. "Seems the brains don't have reflexes." His group laughed loudly. They expected me to say something, to fight back. But I simply grabbed all mi items and stood up, and walked past them. He seemed to notice. I was pinned to some lockers. "Well, well, really sneaky eh, brains?" I didn't respond. I knew he was even more agitated by this. He glanced at one of his allies. They nodded and stepped on my tail. I bit my lip to hold back the pain. The twisted their foot right and left, leaving me in pure agony. O of them than pulled my hair and threw me to the ground. My hair was then yanked, pulling my face up to look at River. "Well sadly, the brains don't know how to fight." They all laughed once more. I tried to stand, only to be kicked back down, and to have my tail smashed by their enormous amount of weight. I thought it wouldn't stop until the large booming sound roared through the hallways. "Get the fuck away from him!" The laughing and the abuse stopped. I could only see the feet of people running. I laid there, unable to move. A shadow hovered over my body. A pair of hand help pick me up, making me hiss in pain. I looked to see who was helping. It was Rasticore. Oh, my God. He had serious expression on his face, and his eyes...I never saw them from up close. They were a deep brown color. It showed fury. Anger. "Are you alright?" I almost flinched from his voice. It was so deep and so reassuring. "I-I'm alright." I tried to get out of his grasp, only to be held even tighter. "You're not. Let me take you to get some aid." He carried me the entire way to the nurse. Moon. A graduated Senior, but she decided to work for the school as a nurse. River has always been craving her, always flirting, but I believe Moon's not buying it. We used to be close friends during her school years. She was at her usual spot, on the desk, rifling through papers, glancing at the computer every few minutes to type something in, then return to her papers. Rasticore gave an informing cough. It was very deep, like a thunderstorm. It certainly caught Moon's attention. She smiled warmly as always, yet the bags under her eyes were very noticeable. "Good Morning Rasticore." He gave her a response with a firm nod. She then turned her gaze at me. Her smile, was suddenly a worried expression. "Toffee? Again?" I gave her a nervous laugh. "Yep. I'm here...again." She sighed. "You've been coming here a lot lately. I am very sure that one man can certainly stop falling down the stairs." I gulped. Rasticore gave me a hard glare. "Falling down the stairs? That's your excuse?" I nodded. I looked over at Moon, who was very confused. "Is there something you're not telling me Toffee? I can assure you, the school can solve the problem." I shook my head. "Everything's fine. Don't worry," was all I could croak out. I was near tears. If it hadn't been for the threats he made against me, I would've been at peace....
I laid there, bruises on my face, cuts on my skin, and my books scattered everywhere. I couldn't move. I tired my best to look through my blurry eyes which were filled with tears. If I can just make it to the office... I carried my limp body as I crawled in the hallways, leaving my books behind me. As I was reaching of rate doorknob, a firm hand pulled me back, pulling my hair. "If you even dare to snitch," it said,"I will show everyone that no one loves you."
