Vakerian Guard: The new enemy.

The Chaos camp was obliterated nothing remained except a massive crater. Their ship was seeked out and destroyed by the Brother's of Solitude strike cruiser and two Imperial Navy ship's.

"Admiral, something new... has appeared on auspect massive numbers. I'm checking the mass off the ship's with the databases. Oh by the Emperor...Sir its the Tyranids!" Said the auspect reader on the Flag ship.

"Alert sector command and the ground forces"

"What should I alert the ground forces with?"

"Are you a fool man look tell them that we have to leave orbit and get reinforcements then we'll be back, Zas should know what to do. Hurry!"

"Yes sir"

Fadro paced around the Governers palace great hall the Fleets message still angering him. Killsink also got a message from his brothers that they would leave with the fleet.

"Right as of now all patrols are to check the sky for spores, no matter where they go guardsmen travel in pairs and have to check in every thirty minutes to their squad leader who relays that to us. In two hours Times all patrols cease and they come back here. Everyone here helps to build defences" The Commisar says before turning on his heel towards the space marine captain.

"Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated" He said to the astartes.

"I am as aware Commisar"

"Good...look we're not set for fighting Tyranids most of our flame weaponry was lost fighting the Tau."

Killsink looked at the Commisar.

"Then we are in trouble"

Fergo realised they were dead as soon as he heard Tyranids. Even on his home world Vakerso which was fortified against Tyranids couldn't suirvive certain attacks for very long if not for the Brother's of Solitude and Tectus Marines. One regiment of guard and one company of space marines couldn't with stand it. But he was Vakerian and would last to the last power cell the last shot.
