Vakerian Guard: Cave Fighting

The thunderhawk had sent a vox back when a Guardsmen dragged him self out of the caves with no legs who died just after telling the apothecary what happened.

"For the emperor's sake we're going in these Necron will take over the world, we will have to fight inch by inch metre by bloody metre" said Fadro drawing his sword as a group of Necrons left the cave and started firing a lot of the Vakerian hadn't set up yet after getting out of the chimera and many were torn apart by the Gauss weapons.

"Fight fight them back for the emperor for Vakerso" shouted Legate Cantz who was resting his Pistol on the wall next to him.

The Vakerian quickly formed firing lines and kept the Necrons a few plasma weapons in the ranks blew arms and body parts off but they kept coming. Then a las cannon opened fire and a auto cannon killing the rest.

"Right we're not able to use our strongest asset which is wrong but that ain't gonna stop us from using our armour. We will have to use the seventh and tenth companies as our spearhead they our the strongest in fighting in this environment. Also they are our storm troopers the first company also." said Fadro.

The large armoured convoy moved into the cave mouth crushing the metal torso's into the ground they fizzed aand sparked the armour was flanked by infantry behind the convoy was all but one company of the 6th Vakerian and the Brothers of Solitude brought their armour and walked in

"Commisar Zas, sir we've found well the mangled husk of a tech marine and two guardsmen or one they... it ... he is a covered in blood a limb is missing so" said a scout over the vox.

"Roger that im coming with the spacemarines apothecary" replied Fadro cocking his bolt pistol.

Tech Marine Coastrik had a arm, both legs and half his face missing it was a miracle he was still alive even if he's a space marine.

"Don't worry brother we are here now" said the Apothecary kneeling alongside Coastrik reitriving some vile from a pouch. Fadro went to the guardsman(men) he saw what the scout meant one of his arms were mangled and cut from the elbow the other arm was mixing with his torso his head was disappearing slowly. The scout came up to Fadro.

"Sir we found this in the guardsmen hand" holding out a bit of paper Fadro took it.

Fadro turned on his heel back to his Chimera holding his arm up he turned his hand all the engines of the vehicles turned on he turned to see a rhino drive to the Apothecary who picked up the body of Coastrik with a brother they put it in the rhino which raced back to the surface.

Fadro saw the square for the first time bodies of Necrons and Imperial forces were around the centre pavilion.

"They held out well Commisar" said a Sergeant in the Brothers of Solitude gesturing to a Vakerian power sword lodged in a Necrons chest with the wielder still clutching his las pistol.

"They fought to the last powercell" said another space marine seeing the empty powercells on the floor.

"Your brothers didnt do too bad either" Fadro said walking to the top of the pavilion to see a pool of blood and some spacemarine armour that seemed ripped of the wearer who was lying with his insides his outsides in a pool of his own blood.
