Her readers!

I just wanted to thank everyone that had read, voted and commented on this short story!

I wanted to add so much more depth and details to it, but the competition said I could only have 500 words, and no more than that or I would be disqualified.

I may or may not continue this story in the future, it really all depends on you guys and how I am doing with my other stories (and please check them out if you don't mind).

I didn't think this story would have as much support as it did, so I'm very thankful.

I don't know what really inspired me to come up with the concept of her being young and pregnant, but i realize that some people do become pregnant at a young age, and some are destroyed from that experience, and some become strong and independent. I wanted my girl to be young and naive, so that if I ever continued this story she would grow to be strong, independent, and wise.

Not all men decide to stay with their special other at this age, if they become pregnant, and if they do, most men end up leaving at some point.

This is not to hate on men, but it is to get some awareness out there.

we (us women) can't just hit a button and get rid of that child, you guys aren't the one who have to carry that baby, give birth, support it, raise it and so much more!

That is why in this story I had put the words, "He wasn't the hero in this story", because in situations like this, you have to be your own hero.

I also ended up adding a religious family because I wanted to spread some awareness on that aspect as well.

It does get better, but you may not always have that support you need, even from the people that care for you the most, and with this family having beliefs of getting married, and then having kids, it was just a whole other mountain she would have to get over.

Some families do end up being supportive, but what about those who aren't, what about those with beliefs like this?

That's all I really had to say on this, ha-ha, this was more of a rant than anything, but thanks for checking this short story out, and be sure to share with your friends! Bye!
