"Alright, now we only have ten minutes before we dismiss for lunch so let's take this time to think of what we're going to do for the Hallows Eve celebration," Professor Cardea says to her two students after their quiz.

"There's a Hallows Eve celebration?" Harper asks. "I didn't know that this school did holidays."

"Of course we do. The only one we do not partake in is the Summer Solstice because you all will be on your summer break by then."

"What do we do for Hallows Eve?" Milena asks.

"Each department does something for the entire school during the day, and the students are free to explore each of the classrooms to see what each department comes up with. There's been plays, haunted houses. One time, the archive magic department did a photo booth. They had different sets and costumes. It was really fun," Professor Cardea explains. "Then in the evening, we will have a large party in the same room we had the school-wide dinner in on the first day of school."

Milena begins to think, "Well, what do your second years think?"

"This year, all my second years are doing independent study because this is their secondary magic. They're all busy with their main magic preparations, so it's all up to."

"What about a bakery?" Milena suggests.

"A bakery?" Harper asks.

"Yeah, it only makes sense with how often Professor Cardea brings us treats and stuff. In fact, I've learned how to bake a little myself. Plus it would be super fun."

"How would doing chores be fun?"

"It's not a chore. Just give it a try. I'm sure you'll like it."

Harper crosses her arms, "We're doing the jobs of your servants and my parents' housekeep. It's a chore."

"I think that it is a wonderful idea, Milena," Professor Cardea says. "Usually everyone wants to do a magic show, so I don't think that I've ever seen a department do anything involving food."

Milena turns to Harper, "Please? You won't even have to bake if you don't want to. You could greet the people that come in and keep track of inventory."

"Hmmm, it would give me good practice for when I help Father over the summer," Harper mumbles. "Fine, we can do a bakery."

"Fantastic!" Professor Cardea exclaims. "We can meet up this Friday during your study hall to discuss all the details. So think of some ideas of what to make and how we're going to set up the room."

The bell rings to release everyone to lunch, and Milena leaves the room as fast as possible. Cedric wasn't at breakfast so he could talk with all his teachers face to face to explain his situation. She has been waiting all morning to hear about what happened. The dining hall was as full as ever by the time she had gotten her food, but their usual table was full of seats. Allegra and Zain were already there, with Camnor sitting on the table. Milena sighs. She knows that it was wrong to think her friend was crazy, but she still couldn't believe that Zain's sword could talk. Even though her father seemed to believe it during his meltdown in her room after the party. She sits down next to Allegra and watches as Zain's face lights up.

"Milena! Did you hear about the Hallows Eve party?" Zain asks ecstatically.

"I did..." Milena begins, ready to tell him about her class's plans.

"I didn't even know there was such a holiday. Camnor said that it was a day where our ancestors come back from the dead to judge us so they can decide if they want to cause us harm or help us the rest of the year."
