Chapter Nineteen || Death

~Chapter Nineteen~ ~Death~ ~James P.O.V.~

We pulled up to the hotel. I think you guys are familiar with what it looks like by now. I ran inside and down the stairs. The basement is really the only place to torture someone, right?

Everyone just ignored my sword. I don't care if they arrest me for having it, as long as I save Levy I'm fine. I kicked the door open to reveal Levy strapped to the bed, screaming in extreme pain and bleeding everywhere. There was cuts and burns all over and I don't think I wanna see the back. Right now he was sticking a knife in her stomach. And she... She didn't have a hand. My eyes wandered to the corner, where I saw Levy's right hand. Oh god.

"So you finally decided to show up. Levy's been waiting for you." Kranos said, insanely. "Leave her alone." I spat. "I see you got the sword." said Kranos. I nodded. "My brother is dead because of you." I hissed. Kranos laughed. "No, no, no, not because of me. Because you killed him." He said. Levy looked over at me with an 'is that true?' expression. "He wanted me to kill him. So that I could murder you." I spat.

He laughed again. "You may have the sword, but do you really think you can kill me?" Kranos yelled. "I'M INVINCIBLE!"

"No, no you're not." I said. I lunged at him, swinging the sword. He dodged and kicked me in the stomach. I got flung back and hit the wall. GAJEEL THEN APPEARED IN THE FUCKING ROOM. GREAT TIMING GAJEEL. He looked at Kranos, then me, then Levy.

I stood up. "Untie Levy." I yelled. He nodded and started untieing her. I lunged at him again. He dodged and I flew into the wall. I got up and punched him. He caught my fist and flipped my over. I winced at the pain. He knelt over me. "Like I said, I'm invincible." He whispered. I looked over at Levy, Gajeel had already untied her. He was trying to help her off the bed, but she just couldn't get up.

Kranos stepped on my stomach. "Gah!" I screamed. He then stepped on it again. And again. And again. And he kept stepping on it till spat out blood. I then got up. I drop kicked him and the two of us fell to the floor. I got up immediately and while he was getting up I kicked him in the gut, causing him to fall over once more.

He took the knife he had used on Levy and threw that at me. It hit me in the leg and I fell to the floor. I forced myself up. I have to do this. For Levy.

I kicked him in the dick. I don't know if demons have dicks or not, but he fell to the floor in pain so I'm gonna ahead and guess they do. He got up and punched me in the nose. And broke it. He broke my nose.

He grabbed a whip from the floor, it was stained in blood. He must've use it on Levy. That bastard! He kicked me in a certain way so I'd fall on my stomach. He then started whipping my back. I screaming out of pain, but forced myself up again.

I threw the sword at him. I aimed for his chest, but missed and hit his arm. He screamed in pain, but ripped it out and threw it at me.

I don't know why, but I didn't dodge. I couldn't bring myself too. It hit me square in the chest. Like, right where the fucking heart is. I didn't die instantly, I don't know why. I pulled the sword out, stumbled over to Kranos while he was holding his arm, and stabbed him in the chest.

Kranos started screaming. Screaming in pain. His whole body went up in flames. He then burned, died. "I-I did it..." I whispered before falling to the floor and slipping into a never ending dark abyss. Death.

~Levy P.O.V.~

James fell to the floor. "I-I did it..." He whispered. After that his body went limp. He... He was dead. No, no, no! This can't be happening. My eyelids started getting heavier and heavier. No... I can't... I can't keep them open...
