Wish Granter

In a street in the great city of London, there lived a poor,frail man. He begs for food everyday in order to survive. Often times he got ridiculed, beaten up and ignored by other people. A small fairy took pity on him.

" Travel to the middle of the sea, wait for lighting and when it strikes, shout what you need the most and it shall be granted " The fairy said.

The man heeded the fairy and built a boat to sail across the seas. There he waited and waited, keeping his eyes open when suddenly lighting stroke in the near horizon.

He shouted to the top of his lungs . 

" MONEY! "

And woe and behold. Money begun to rain down from the sky. The man hurriedly picked as much as money as he could get as much as possible and went back to London as a rich man!

Few months later, he saw an old friend of his on the streets, begging for money. His old friend saw him and went up to him to ask how he got rich.

Remembering their past friendship and hardships they struggled, he took pity on him and told him about what the small fairy told him.

And so the man too built a boat to sail across the seas.

There he waited.... and waited.... slowly closing his eyes, he had slept due to the boredom of simply waiting there.

When suddenly lightning stroke and he woke up in a startled state and cursed out loud

" $#IT!!! "

Well, you could guess what happened next.
