WOW.
I started this story two and a half, nearly three, years ago now and it's been such a journey for me.
I find comfort in writing romance and drama, so inserting even the smallest amount of "paranormal" was very much so out of my comfort zone. In the beginning, that gave me a pretty decent amount of anxiety as I didn't want to come across as tacky and generic.
However, about halfway through the writing of this book, I abandoned that anxiety. This was my first go at anything even close to the realm of paranormal, so if it came out a little on the dry side it was fine because we all have to start somewhere. I think it was at this point that my passion for this project really took off and the story began writing itself for me.
