"Welcome chefs!" Jisung is wearing an apron and holding a wooden spoon as he smiles brightly at us. Sungwoon and I just stare at him.

"There are two more aprons in there. I'll get them." He continues to smile as he turns around and grabs two more aprons. He holds them out to us. I finally break out of my daze.

"Wouldn't we be bakers?" Sungwoon comments as he grabs an apron.

"I guess you're right." Jisung laughs. I grab the other apron and put it on.

"Okay, so first we have to heat the oven." Sungwoon reads off the instructions from his phone.

"How high?" Jisung waits for Sungwoon's answer at the oven.

"It says 375°F." Jisung nods.

"Got it." Jisung sets it up before coming back over to us. Sungwoon continues giving the instructions while Jisung and I help him accomplish the tasks. When they went into the oven we all took of our aprons and sat on the couch.

"So, when does your mom get home?" Sungwoon shrugs.

"Usually around 7. So she should be home in about 30 minutes." My eyes widen.

"Oh." He nods.

"What time do you have to be home by?" I shrug.

"I don't know. Whenever Seonho calls and complains that I've been gone for too long." Sungwoon looks confused.

"Wouldn't your parents be concerned?" I sigh.

"They aren't home. They're currently away on a business trip. I'm not exactly sure when they will visit since they rarely do but it's fine, they do it to make sure Seonho and I can live comfortably or a little more than comfortable I guess. They usually warn us when they are coming by to visit though. So Seonho is the only one at home who can worry about me." I spoke softly.

"That reminds me. Which one is older? You or Seonho?" Sungwoon questions. I chuckle.

"Take a guess." He thinks for a moment while Jisung stays silent.

"You?" Jisung shakes his head.

"No, he has a big brother instinct. He's older than her by a couple minutes but he still acts like he's multiple years older than her when it comes to protectiveness." Jisung responds first.

"Oh, you haven't said much about your brother. What's he like?" Sungwoon opens his mouth like he's unsure of what to say when the timer goes off.

"The cookies are done!" Jisung shouts. We all get up and go over to grab them forgetting about my question. Jisung grabs oven mitts and takes them out of the oven and puts them on to a plate to let them cool off. We sit around for a moment waiting for them to cool off when we hear the front door open. A woman walks in. She takes her shoes off and walks towards the kitchen. Sungwoon immediately gets up with a smile on his face. I slowly get up while Jisung rushes over with Sungwoon. They both engulf the woman in a hug. I lightly chuckle.

"Hello to the two of you too." She softly laughs. She then spots me and our eyes meet for a moment. A look of confusion appears on her face. The two boys release the hug. Sungwoon notices her gaze.

"Oh, mom, this is Yoo Seonmi. She's a hoobae from school. Seonmi, this is my mom." I softly smile and wave shyly. She nods and smiles back.

"I invited her and Jisung to help make cookies. We were just waiting for them to cool off. Do you wanna try them with us?" She nods.

"Sure, but I need to drop my stuff off in my room first." Sungwoon nods. She then walks off. I sit back down as we wait for her to come back. Jisung sits down at the spot beside me and Sungwoon sits across.

"So...has your brother said anything yet?" Jisung questions. I check my phone.

"Nope. Nothing yet. He'll probably call and say something if I'm not home by 9 though." Jisung chuckles and nods.

"I remember that time when we were spending the day together and there was some traffic on the way back and he was ready to murder me because "it's already 9 and it's a school night" he sounded like he was your dad or something. I actually felt like I was being scolded by a father. It made me a little scared." I try to hold back my laugh as I remember the memory.

"He lectured me for about an hour after I got home. The main thing I took away from it though was that I should be home by 9 if I have school the next day." Sungwoon's mom comes back and she sits with Sungwoon. Sungwoon grabs a cookie to test it out.

"It seems like its cool enough. Grab one." Jisung and I nod and we grab one. Sungwoon's mom also grabs one and we all try it.

"It's actually pretty good. I was expecting it to turn out a little weird because of how much Jisung was messing around." Jisung glared at Sungwoon. I stifled a giggle.

"I also think it turned out pretty good. Nice work you three." I turned to Sungwoon's mom and smiled.

"Thank you." Sungwoon's mom then excused herself and left us in the kitchen. After hanging out with Sungwoon and Jisung for a bit I checked the time. 8:42.

"I think about now would be a good time for me to leave." I look at the two boys. They nod.

"I'll bring her home." Jisung stands up. Sungwoon nods.

"Okay, well bye Seonmi! See you tomorrow!" I wave.

"See you tomorrow!" I then follow Jisung. We walk over to his car that apparently had been parked there and I failed to notice.

"Why is your car already here?" He unlocks the car.

"I slept over." I nod. I silently get into the car. Jisung does the same and he turns the car on. We make our way to my house. We didn't really speak. While we were getting close to the house I felt my phone buzz. I look at the caller ID and pick it up.

Seonmi:
Yeah?

Seonho:
Where are you? It's already past 9.

Seonmi:
I'm in the car with Jisung. We're approaching the street so don't worry too much. I'll be home in a few.

Seonho:
Okay, fine. Just get home soon.

Seonmi:
I know. See you in a few.

Seonho:
See you in a few.

I hung up as Jisung slowed down the car. My house was in view. The moment we got infront of it, he stopped completely.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow. Bye Jisung. Get home safely." He smiles.

"See you tomorrow. I will." I wave as I get out the car. I then walk into the house. Seonho was sitting on the couch in the living room with his pajamas on.

"You're finally home. Don't stay up too late. I'm going to sleep!" I nod.

"I won't and night!" He yawns as he turns to walk up the stairs. I walk up the stairs a few minutes later and get changed. I then slowly drift off to sleep after doing my preparation.
