There were 5 boys speaking Mandarin at the table. I'm sure I look lost.

"Do you know Mandarin?" Kaihao turns and asks me. I shake my head.

"Not really." He nods. He says something to catch the 5 boys attention. They all turn and look at the 3 of us standing.

"This is Chen Linong and a friend he made here, Yoo Seonmi. Say hi." Kaihao says in Korean. A couple of the boys look a little lost for a moment.

"Do either of you speak Mandarin?" One of the boys questions. I shake my head while Linong nods.

"I don't, he does. I only know Korean and English." I respond. Two of the other boys widen their eyes at that.

"We know English too!" One of the two boys says with his arm around the other's shoulder while shaking him.

"Well, introduce yourselves." Kaihao says. The first boy who spoke clears his throat.

"My name is Zhu Zhengting, you can call me Jung Jung if it's easier." I smile and nod.

"I'm Huang Minghao, I go by Justin though." The one who had excitedly announced that him and the boy next to him knew English, says.

"I'm Fan Chengcheng." The boy next to Justin says.

"My name is Qian Zhenghao." One of the other boys says.

"I'm Cai Xukun. I also know English." The last boy, who was sitting next to Zhenghao, says.

"What year are each of you?" I question.

"Xukun, Chengcheng, and I are third years. Zhenghao is a second year. Justin is a first year." Zhengting responds.

"Oh, I'm a first year too!" I smile.

"I'm a third year." Linong jumps in.

"Well, if you need help around the school don't hesitate to ask for help." Zhengting nods and smiles.

"We'll keep that in mind." Linong and Kaihao sit down at the table.

"Well, I'll just be over at the table right there. So, I guess I'll see you around. Bye!" I hesitantly exit. I then walk back to my table and sit down.

"What's with the sudden new students?" Youngji questions the moment I sit down.

"Taiwan and China had a scholarship thing so some students transferred here. Linong and Kaihao's friends seem to be pretty fluent in Korean so don't be scared to talk to them." They nod.

I grab my bag from my desk and walk out the classroom. While walking I feel someone tap on my shoulder. I turn and see Linong standing behind me.

"Hey." I smile at him.

"Hey." He returns a smile.

"You know how to get home right?" I question. He nods.

"Yeah, but I'm gonna hang out with the others first." I turn and we walk side by side.

"Oh, I forgot to ask for your number before." Linong and I walk towards the entrance. He grabs his phone from his pocket and unlocks it before handing it to me.

"Yeah, I forgot as well. Here you go." I hand the phone back after adding my number into his contacts.

"I'll add you to a group chat with the others." I nod.

"So how was your first day?" He thinks for a moment.

"Good. Not much happened though." I felt my phone buzz. I checked it and saw a message from an unknown number.

"Is this your number?" I ask as I show him. He looks and nods. I then look back at my phone and add him as a contact.

"How was your day?" I hum.

"Boring. Nothing really happened." We both look around the moment we get outside.

"The boys are over there. I guess I'll see you tomorrow." I nod and smile.

"See you tomorrow." I wave as he walks away. I continue looking around for my brother, Guanlin, Minhyun, or Youngji and Sewoon. I spot Youngji and Sewoon and run over to them.

"Heyo." I jump onto them. They jump and turn around.

"Again?" Youngji whines. I nod with a big smile.

"Of course." I then pat both of their book bags.

"So, I don't know if Daehwi is coming over or not but if he is then can at least one of you come over?" Sewoon nods.

"I'll go." She jumps onto Sewoon and hugs him.

"What about you Seonmi?" She turns to me.

"I'll pass for today. I have some homework to work on." She pouts but nods.

"Well, we'll see you tomorrow. Bye." We group hug.

"Bye!" I wave as I walk away to find Seonho.
