I woke up to see I was on a park bench with a blanket on me. I found a jar of pink pills beside me, labeled as 'Peach Pills', also having a little note on it. I got up, groaning in pain and read the note.

'Dear young lady I saved last night,
I noticed you had a wound on your left hip, so here are some peach pills for you. Only need to use once and you will be better in no time!
I may have stolen them from the previous land god but no biggie. Oh and you're welcome for saving you. You're heavy.

I glared at the pills. What a load of bullshit. Why didn't you just leave me to die anyway.

I looked around, indeed I was saved, but I still had no idea where I was and had no idea where to go to. I quickly got up, biting my tongue, trying to avoid the pain. I picked up the peach pills, and put them in my pocket. Also picking up the blanket and rolled it up holding it under my arm. You never know, I might need it again.

I took a walk around the nearby town, well more like I limped. I started getting stares and disgusted looks from passing people. I guess I looked even more dirty than before.

As I finished the worthless lap around the town, I went back to the park. In the corner of my eye, I saw a sign.

'The Mikage Shrine'.

After what felt like an eternity of climbing stairs, I found a gate with a sign.

I walked near the front and wrapped the blanket around my waist, cleaning my face. I finally got on my knees. I did something I thought I'd never have to do. I pray...

Mizuki's P.O.V.

After the meeting with that human woman, I had delivered her to the nearby park. I would've been a gentleman and take her to the hospital but I had no time. So I went to Otohiko's, and left straight away. Not wanting any purposeless comment on my clothing.
After that I just flew back to the shrine, did a couple chores and went to bed.

The next morning Iwas tiredly sweeping the floor of the front hallway of the shrine.

"God?"

I jumped from the sudden voice.
I nearly forgot about prayers, we barely get any since she left.

I froze.

"Are you listening? Is anyone listening? I'm sorry if I'm bad at this thing. This is my first prayer."

It was the girl from the forest. I was astonished by this, I never thought I'd see her again.

"Will you please-" She have a sudden look of shock at me.

Did she she remember me?

"It's you?!"

Mikage quickly paced in from the end of the hallway.

"Mizuki! Something happened to the prayer! I can't hear it anymore- Well, hello there!" He smiled warmly to her, "And who may you be?"

"Y/N, and you?" she replied returning the smile.

"Its nice to meet you, I'm Mikage. Oh, it's rather cold out here, why don't you come in for some tea?"

They walked off, babbling on about their day and such, as I stood there, my chest beating rather abnormally.
