*The day of Kevin's date*
Meanwhile, Kirstie and Avi go on a walk to the fair. All is well until Kirstie notices Avi "checking out" other girls.
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time they've had conflict.
Kirstie: Really? Wow.
She says, sounding annoyed.
Avi: What?
Kirstie: You know what you did!
Avi shrugs.
Avi: No, I don't. I don't know what I "did" this time.
Kirstie: You were checking out that girl!
She says, beginning to sound angrier.
Avi: No I wasn't, Kirstie!
Kirstie: Oh yeah, just like you "didn't" wink at the girl in Venice?!
Avi: I didn't!
The two continue to walk hand in hand.
Kirstie: Avi, don't play dumb. I know you check out other girls!
He sighs. This is their third fight since they've been together.
Avi: Kirstie, I really don't want to fight. Especially here, in front of everyone!
Kirstie: Who's fighting?! We're not fighting!
Avi: YOU'RE fighting with me.
Kirstie: No I'm not! I just don't enjoy having my boyfriend check out other girls, Avi!
He sighs again.
Avi: How can I prove I'm not?
Kirstie: I don't know!
Avi: Kirstie..
He says as he stands in front of her.
She stays silent.
Avi: Can we please just drop this and continue our day together, nicely?
He asks softly as he holds her hand.
They rest their foreheads on the others , eyes closed.
She is quiet for a second, then sighs.
Kirstie: Yeah...I guess.
Avi smiles at her.
Avi: Thank you.
He smiles and kisses her softly.
Avi: Now let's go get food!
She giggles softly.
Kirstie: You're always hungry!
With smiles on their faces, Avi grips her hand and runs with her to the food court.
Avi: Let's go!
